Precoated pans
Precoated pans are boks and nuts, etc
that are coated
with a
seal lock adhesive
(arrow) at the factory.
(a) If a
precoated pan is retightend, loosened
or caused to
move
In
any way, it must be recoated wilh the specified ad-
hes~e.
(b) Recoating
of Precmted Pans

Clean off the old adhesive from the pan's threads
(2)
Dry
wit comprresed air.
(3)
Apply the specified seal lock adhesive tothe
pats
threads
(c) Precoated pans are indicafed in
the component illustrations
by the

symbol.
