Round Hole Steel Strainer Instructions

Round hole suction strainers are used to decrease the amount of solids entering your pump

when foot valves are not required. Their plated steel construction provides rust and corrosion

resistance. Round Hole Steel Strainers are for lay flat and suction hoses.

Setup Instructions:

1. Apply pipe thread sealant to round hole steel strainer female threads.

2. Attach a steel combination hose nipple with male threads to the round hole steel

strainer.

3. Attach suction hose to the nipple barbed end and secure with hose clamp if necessary.

4. Attach other end of suction hose to the pump.
