Quick Reference Guide
IQC timeout at 8 AM daily
A) Clean the meter surface
with moistened tissue
B) Remove and wipe the
green cover
Clean the inside area
with cotton swab
* Be gentle & caution
when cleaning the
detection window on
the side
IQC Checking
Press Control Test
Power on the h 232
Insert the IQC test strips
(Low and High)
The measurement begins
automatically
Return the test strip quickly
back into the container
Daily Cleaning (70% alcohol)

Routine Testing
Power on the h 232
Press the “Patient Test” Button
Enter or scan the patient ID
Insert the test strip
The test strip will warm up
automatically
Apply the sample within 5
minutes. Then press the check
button.*
Draw exactly 150 μL sample
using a Roche CARDIAC Pipette
in between the 2 blue arrows
Use heparinized venous whole
blood only
Gently swirl the tube for
10 times
* Hold the pipette vertically over the sample
application area. Slowly apply the sample to
avoid spillage and losing of samples.
The Roche CARDIAC Pipette tip should not touch
the sample application area of the test strip.
