6 Preface
Intended use
The intended use of the cobas
©
infinity insights module
is to provide a data repository for statistical purposes and
a set of predefined statistical reports used for production
monitoring by laboratory management. The functionality
includes an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) layer to export
the data through a defined interface into the reporting
database. The statistical reports are then created from the
reporting database by the users.
