DESCRIPTION:
Audio Unlimited's poolPod wireless floating speaker allows you to enjoy your music while relaxing in a hot
tub, pool or any other water environment. This fully waterproof speaker is powered by 900MHz PLL circuitry,
which guarantees a strong, clear signal up to 150FT away. The transmitter delivers a powerful signal through
walls or any other obstacles in your yard. Just plug in your iPod, computer, stereo, MP3 player or any device
that has a 3.5mm or RCA output and enjoy high quality music without the hassle of running wires. Enjoy the
complete freedom of taking your music from the pool, to the spa, camping, and more. The ultimate wireless
and relaxation experience whether you’re outdoors or indoors!

There are a few things you
need to know about your new
Floating Wireless S
peaker
before
s
t
ar
t
ing
:
1. The plug that connects to your device (iPod, MP3
player, computer etc) is retractable. You can gently
pull it out to over 12-inches length. A second gentle
tug will get it to retract.
(see Fig. 1 below)
2. Your transmitter will not transmit to the speaker until
the volume of your device is set to medium or
higher. Higher is typically better.

3. The speaker will need to have the Scan button
pressed after its power button is turned on and
after step #2 above. This will assure that the
speaker finds and locks onto the wireless signal.
4. In a calm pool with no splashing, rain etc., the
floating speaker will work well with the grill cover on.
In times where there will be splashing water hitting
the speaker, it will function best with the grill cover
removed. This will allow water to be expelled by the
movement of the speaker. The cover may be easily
removed by grasping along one side and gently
pulling it away from the speaker housing. Do not
force the grill piece! You can easily replace the grill
cover by snapping back into place after
aligning the support tabs.

5. Avoid letting anything touch the black speaker
driver while the grill cover is removed.

6. Your Wireless Speaker is water resistant and is
immersible. The wireless transmitter is not water
resistant. As with other complex electronic items,
care should be taken to properly protect and care
for this component.
7. While the speaker cover is removed, be sure that
nothing touches the fragile black speaker driver.
8. When not in use, always replace the speaker grill
cover. And remove the speaker from the water.
Storing the speaker inside will best preserve the
waterproof gaskets and will maximize the lifespan
of the speaker.
9. If the speaker will not be used for more than
30-days, remove the batteries to avoid damage to
the speakers.
10. The speaker and the transmitter should be
handled with care. Throwing the audio device is
not recommended and could void your warranty.

ATTENTION:
The transmitter for this speaker set is designed to work with a wide variety of
devices. Our tests have shown the default volume levels of iPods, MP3 players and
other devices connected to the transmitter through the headphone jack does not
have the signal strength required by the transmitter. Raising the volume of your
device will increase the signal strength to the transmitter. The blue signal LED will
light when the required signal strength from your device if reached.
We recommend that you keep the volume set on your iPod or MP3 player at a
minimum of ¾ of full volume.
