Transportation Requirement
Transport the device under allowed humidity and temperature conditions.

Installation Requirements
Do not connect the power adapter to the Turnstile while the adapter is powered on.
Strictly comply with the local electric safety code and standards. Make sure the ambient voltage
is stable and meets the power supply requirements of the Turnstile.
Do not connect the Turnstile to two or more kinds of power supplies, to avoid damage to the
Turnstile.
Install the Turnstile on a stable surface to prevent it from falling.
Do not place the Turnstile in a place exposed to sunlight or near heat sources.
Keep the Turnstile away from dampness, dust, and soot.
Install the device in a well-ventilated place, and do not block its ventilation.
Use an adapter or cabinet power supply provided by the manufacturer.
The power supply must conform to the requirements of ES1 in IEC 62368-1 standard and be no
higher than PS2. Please note that the power supply requirements are subject to the Turnstile
label.
The Turnstile is a class I electrical appliance. Make sure that the power supply of the Turnstile is
connected to a power socket with protective earthing.
Operation Requirements
Make sure that the power supply is correct before use.
Do not unplug the power cord on the side of the Turnstile when the adapter is powered on.
Operate the Turnstile within the rated range of power input and output.
Transport, use and store the device under allowed humidity and temperature conditions.
Do not drop or splash liquid onto the Turnstile, and make sure that there is no object filled with
liquid on the Turnstile to prevent liquid from flowing into it.
Do not disassemble the Turnstile without professional instruction.

Maintenance Requirements
After the installation, remove the protective film and clean the Turnstile.
Regularly perform maintenance on the Turnstile to ensure that it works properly.
If the Turnstile is installed near places with poor air, such as a swimming pool entrance, within 50
km of the sea or a construction site, then maintenance must be performed more frequently on
the stainless cover.
Do not use paint thinner or any other organic agent during maintenance.
When using a face detection component, apply waterproof silicon sealant to the installation
position.
Precautions
Pregnant women, the elderly, and children must be accompanied when passing the Turnstile.
Children less than the height of 1 m must pass the Turnstile in the arms of or alongside an adult.
Do not stay or play in the passage.
Make sure that your suitcase passes in the front or alongside you.
Only one person can pass through at a time. Do not tailgate a person, linger in the passage or
break through the passage.
Violent impact might damage the machine core and shorten the service life of the Turnstile.
Make sure that the Turnstile is correctly grounded to prevent personal injury.
Do not use the Turnstile when thunder occurs.
When authorizing a person to pass through the Turnstile, there should be no person on the
opposite side of the Turnstile, otherwise the barriers will remain unlocked until the person on the
opposite side exits.
Pass through the Turnstile as soon as possible after authorization. If the person does not enter
within the specified time, the system will automatically close the barriers.
When multiple persons are entering, they can pass with continuous authorization when memory
mode is enabled. But the interval between continuous authorizations is recommended to be 2
s–5 s.
Pay attention to the status of the indicator when verifying a person's identity. Red indicates that
the identity of the person was not verified. Green indicates that their identity was successfully
verified, and that the person can pass through.
Do not try to forcibly pass through the passage. This Turnstile supports intelligent anti-tailgating
and anti-reverse intrusion. If you forcibly break through, the system will automatically lock,
closing off the passage. This can result in a person becoming injured.
The Turnstile will not correctly recognize the authorized card if it is used together with other
cards.
Keep the authorized card well to make sure it works properly.
Do not pass items through the Turnstile, otherwise the Turnstile will consider the item as
unauthorized.

1 Overview
1.1 Introduction
The speed gate is a high-end intelligent passage equipment. It can be integrated with IC/ID reader,
QR scanner, fingerprint reader, face detection terminal and other recognition devices to realize the
intelligent and efficient management of passages. It can be used in office buildings, communities,
airports and other places.
1.2 Features
Self-detection and alarm prompt.
Supports the configuration of different passing modes such as swiping the card and opening the
door by sensing people.
Anti-forced-accessing. The barrier gate will be locked automatically without open-barrier signal.
Sound and light alarms will be triggered when detecting intrusion, tailgating.
IR anti-squeeze and mechanical anti-squeeze (the barrier gate will open again when failed to
close).
Automatically resets when the turnstile stays open for longer than the specified time. You can
adjust the time to delay closing the turnstile (the default value is 5 s by default).
Standard connection port is used to connect with multiple access control devices.
Remote control and management.
The turnstile is unlocked when powered off. It can be manually opened and automatically resets
when powered on.

1.4 Components
Components description
The swing barrier consists of a mechanical system and an electric control system.
The mechanical system has the cabinet and the mechanism. The cabinet is installed with direction
indicator, recognition devices, IR sensor and other components. The mechanism has the motor.
The electric control system has access control system, main control board, IR sensor, direction
indicator, servo drive, servo motor, power supply and other components.

Access Control
System
The fingerprint device, face detection device and QR code device can
send open-barrier signal to the control board.
Main Control Board
Controls the motor to open the door when the main control board
receives the open-barrier signal. Receives and processes the signals of
the encoder and the IR sensor to enable the intelligent operation of all
parts.
IR Sensor Detects the passage position and protect the people from being
squeezed.
Direction Indicator Displays the passage status to guide the people pass through the
barrier.
Servo Motor Drives the mechanism to correctly open or close the barrier gate.
Servo Drive Controls the servo motor.
Clutch Automatically closes the barrier gate when detecting the intrusion.
Power Supply Provides the power.
Terms
Single-core turnstile: A single-core turnstile has 1 barrier gate with 1 mechanism.
Double core turnstile: A double-core turnstile has 2 barrier gate with 2 mechanisms.
Main cabinet: The cabinet installed with the IR receiver.
Sub cabinet: The cabinet installed with the IR emitter. Combine the sub cabinet with the main
cabinet to create a passage.
Zero position: The barrier gate is closed.
Free pass: You can pass through the turnstile freely and do not need to swipe the card.

1.5 Operation
Procedure
Step 1 Power on the turnstile, and the turnstile starts self-detection. After the barrier gate closes,
the control board beeps. It means the turnstile finishes the self-detection and enters the
working mode.
Step 2 The access control system sends the open-barrier signal to the turnstile when detecting
the authorized card, fingerprint or the QR code. We recommend you configure the signal
time as any value from 0.5 s to 1.5 s.
Step 3 The main control board sends the signal to the direction indicator and the motor after it
receives the open-barrier signal. The turnstile displays the green sign and opens.
Step 4 The IR sensor detects the procedure of passing after the people pass through the passage,
continuously sends the signals to the main control board. The barrier gate closes after the
people completely pass through the passage.
Step 5 The turnstile remains closed if people try to pass without the card or with the invalid card.
The alarms will be triggered and be canceled until the people exit the passage. Use the
authorized card to open the turnstile.

2 Installation
2.1 Installation Precautions
You need to read and strictly confirm to requirements in the manual during installation;
otherwise we assume no responsibility for any loss occurred.
Correctly arrange the cabinets in order. Make sure that the cabinets are parallel to each other,
and the height difference is within an appropriate range.
Make sure the turnstile is properly grounded.
Check the wiring and make sure there is no short circuit before you power on the device.
Check the status and test all the functions after the installation. Use the device after successful
test.
If there are abnormalities in the installation, cut the power off immediately, and then contact the
technical personnel.
2.2 Installation Procedure

Step 1 Prepare the tools for the installation, check the accessories according to the tools list.

Step 2 Confirm the number of passages, the passage width and the working method, and then
make an overall plan at the selected installation location.
Step 3 Adjust the foundation level for the installation, and then arrange the devices in order.
Arrange the devices according to the letter prompt on the devices.
For example, the letters on the devices are Entry-L, Entry-D and Entry-R respectively.
Arrange the devices in the order of -L, -D, -R.
Entry-L means the left cabinet. Entry-D means the center cabinet. Entry-R means the
right cabinet.

Step 4 Unlock the side cover, position the installation holes, drill holes, and then bury the M12
expansion bolts.
Step 5 Confirm the wiring according to the referred wiring diagram, dig out the pipe groove, and
then put in the PVC conduit (20 mm recommended).

Interconnecting cable (3 CAT5 network cable with 8 cores, 1
power cable with 2 cores and 1.0 mm) is used to connect the main
cabinet and the sub cabinet.

TCP/IP (8-core network cable) and 485 signal cable. The
recommended distance is less than 100 m. The cables are placed
in the cabinet that is installed with the access control board.
4 Control board.
5 Fixing plate.
The turnstile uses the power cable and the interconnecting cable. The power supply
and the control board inside the cabinet are not installed at the bottom. The power
cable and the interconnecting cable must be 2 meters higher than the ground.
The strong current and the weak current must not be in the same pipe.
Step 6 Run the AC 220 V power cable (RVV 3-core and 2.0 mm), interconnecting cable with male

and female power jack (2-core and 1.0 mm), 3 interconnecting cable, and 1 access control
network cable respectively with the PVC conduit. Refer to the provided wiring diagram.
Wiring the cables according to the actual situation for the device that is installed with
access control system, consumption system or other control system.
Step 7 Move the cabinets to the corresponding installation location. Make sure the installation
holes on the cabinets and the anchor expansion bolts locations are aligned with each
other.
Step 8 Confirm the wirings and the expansion bolts location. Select one cabinet (the center
cabinet recommended) as the reference, align the bolt slot of the cabinet with the
corresponding anchor bolt, and then pre-tighten the nuts.
Step 9 Check the installed barrier gates, pre-tighten the nuts, and tighten the nuts completely
after the commissioning and function test.
2.3 Structure

In Figure 2-4, the left driver is used for the main cabinet, and the right driver is used for the sub
cabinet.

2.4 Wiring
Procedure
Step 1 Connect the main cabinet with the sub cabinet through 3 eight-core network cables and 1
power cable (2×1 mm).
Lord in the figure represents the main cabinet. Vice in the figure represents the sub
cabinet.

Step 2 Connect the circuit breaker with the 220 V power and check the ground wire.
Step 3 Connect the access controller and the face detection devices with the open-barrier signal
cable.

Do not connect the access control devices with the power supply of the control board.
Step 4 Connect to the fire signal.
If you short-circuit the Fire and Gnd ports, the turnstile enters fire alarm mode and the
barrier gate normally opens. If you disconnect the Fire and Gnd ports, the turnstile exits
the fire alarm mode and the barrier gate normally closes.

2.5 Commissioning
Procedure
Step 1 Check the wiring of the interconnecting cable and the power cable according to the wiring
diagram. Power on the turnstile after you confirm the wirings are correct.
Step 2 After powered on, the barrier gate opens in the entry direction first, opens in the exit
direction, and then closes. The turnstile beeps after the self-detection finishes.
Do not cover the IR sensor or stand in the passage during the self-detection procedure.
Step 3 The alarm will be triggered if you enter the passage without swiping the card. If there is no
alarm, check the IR sensor position and if the IR receiver is solid red.
Step 4 If the IR receiver is solid yellow, the IR emitter was not aligned to the receiver. Adjust the
devices.
Step 5 Configure the unlock time of the access control. The value can be from 0.5 s to 1.5 s.
Step 6 Swipe the authorized card, and the indicator turns to the icon of the green arrow. If the
indicator turns to the red icon or the barrier gate closes immediately when you enter in the
passage, Change the wiring of the SW1 Gnd and SW2 Gnd.
Step 7 Check the opening and the closing of the turnstile, the indicator, the IR anti-squeeze
function. Use the device after the functions are confirmed.
