Do not try to repair the appliance by yourself. Please contact warrantor
or service agent or a suitably qualified electrician.
Heat Storm is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the Heat Storm by a person responsible for their
safety.
Keep out of reach of children and never leave them unsupervised. When
selecting the location for your Heat Storm, do so in such a way that
children cannot access or touch the heater.
Never leave the Heat Storm unsupervised when in use. Do not use this
product with a programmer, timer or any other device that automatically
switches the Heat Storm on.
To avoid risk, do not use this product with an external voltage regulator,
such as dimmer or speed controller etc.
The Heat Storm should only be mounted by an authorized specialist.
Never install the Heat Storm within 6 feet of anything flammable,
such as paper, clothing, furniture, curtains, etc.
In order to avoid overheating and fire hazard, do not cover or obstruct
the Heat Storm. Do not put any materials on the Heat Storm, such as
clothes, blankets, pillows, paper etc.
The casing and the front cover become extremely hot during operation.
Pay attention that, no combustible material due to wind or other
environmental influences covers or obstructs the Heat Storm, such as
curtains, marquees, flags, plastic foil etc.
Do not store any burnable liquids, paint, gas, etc. in the immediate
surroundings of the Heat Storm. Do not use this product in flammable
environments (in the vicinity of combustible gas or spray cans). Danger
of explosion and fire!

The Heat Storm all season outdoor heater produces infrared radiant
heat, warming people and objects rather than the air between, providing
the only form of heat that will not blow away. The Heat Storm’s
weatherproof design is perfect for worry-free outdoor and industrial use.
Please read the enclosed instructions carefully before installation or use.
WARNING: When using electrical appliances basic safety precautions
should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or
injury to persons.
Carefully read through this user manual before installing or operating
the Heat Storm. Be sure to keep this manual in a safe place for future
reference.
Ensure that the voltage indicated on this product corresponds to the
local mains supply voltage.
Do not use extension cords with the Heat Storm.
Multi-sockets may be used only if the multi-socket has adequate
capacity. Ensure that voltage indicated on the heater corresponds to
the multi-socket before you connect the Heat Storm.
Do not touch the Heat Storm while it is functioning. Unplug from the
outlet and wait until it has sufficiently cooled before handling. Use
caution to avoid risk of burn injury!
Never install the Heat Storm in the immediate surroundings of a bath,
washbasin, swimming pool or other unusually damp or wet places.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by warrantor or a
qualified person such as an electrician to avoid danger.
Heat Storm operation should be unplugged immediately if cracks, breaks,
flaws in the aluminum casing, or on the cord or plug are visible.

For additional protection the installation of a residual current device
(RCD) is advisable.
1 Remove all package material and check the supply cord and plug for
signs of damage. See figure 1.
2 Pay attention to the mounting place and all mounting material
(dowels, screws). Ensure they are suitable and stable enough for
permanent mounting.
3 Mount according to the minimum safe distances. See figure 2.
4 The distance between the bottom edge of the appliance and the
floor must be at least 5 feet (60 inches).
5 There must be a distance of at least 18 inches between the
appliance and the ceilings or other covers. If the covers consist
of flammable material such as wooden ceilings, wooden roofs etc.,
the distance should be at least 3 feet must always be maintained.
6 There must be a distance of at least 3 feet at each side between
the appliance and walls. See figure 2.
7 Ensure that the installation of the Heat Storm does not add
excessive wind load. Ensure that the nameplate side is facing
upwards.
8 Fix the mounting bracket on the wall first. Ensure that the bracket is
secure and firm.
9 Assemble the appliance onto the mounting bracket. See figure 3.
10 Adjust to the desired angle and tighten all screws. Regularly check
the screws to ensure they are tight. Vibration caused by wind and
other weather conditions can loosen screws over time. See figure 4.
11 Plug in the Heat Storm, then observe for 10 to 15 minutes to ensure
that it works trouble-free.

Before cleaning remove plug from the power outlet and wait until
the appliance is sufficiently cool.
Wipe the appliance with clean lint-free cloth.
Before use the Heat Storm must be dry.
Never use abrasive cleaners, scrubbing brushes or chemical cleaners
for cleaning.
Never use flammable cleaners.

Repairs must be carried out by authorized specialists to ensure electrical
safety. Please contact the service agent or a suitably qualified electrician.
Improper repairs could lead to danger. The warranty does not cover
damage or failure that results from alteration, accident, misuse, abuse,
neglect or improper maintenance.
