Grounding I
nstructions
This steam generator must be grounded. This steamer is equipped with a cord
having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must
be inserted into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in
accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
WARNING Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result in a risk of
electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the
outlet is properly grounded. Do not modify the plug provided with the appliance if it will not fit the
outlet; have a proper outlet installed by a qualified electrician. This appliance is for use on a nominal
120-volt circuit and has a grounding attachment plug that looks like the plug illustrated the figure to the
right. Make sure that the appliance is connected to an outlet having the same configuration as the plug.
No adaptor should be used with this appliance.
Uncrating & Assembly Instructions
Shift the large handle for transport back, toward the rear of the appliance (fig. 1). Lock the handle with
the two hand knobs. Lock by turning clockwise (fig. 2). Then use the two spring loaded adjustable,
locking levers to firmly lock the handle in place (fig. 3).
Caution: Before using your steamer, lock the rear wheels in place as shown in figure 4 below. This adds
stability and makes the machine steer easily when transporting in a straight pathway. The rear wheels
can be unlocked when working in a small area, allowing the steamer to “crab steer” for maximum
maneuverability.

Quick Start Guide
To begin operating the steamer:
1. Open the water reservoir cap shown in figure 5. Fill the water tank with clean cold tap water. Do not
use deionized water or the steamer will not create steam. Close the water tank by re-installing the
cap.
2. If desired, add detergent to the chemical dispensing tank shown in figure 5.
If using detergents to clean, it is your responsibility to ensure the manufacturer of the
chemical warrants it for use in dry vapor steam generators. DO NOT use chemicals that are
not approved for use in a steam generator
→ NEVER put detergent in the water reservoir. This can result in serious damage to the unit
3. Insert the hose connector into the steamers steam port as shown below (fig. 8) by pressing the plug
into the port until button (A) clicks. Check that the connector is firmly positioned by gently pulling
backward on it to ensure it is locked in place.

General Operator Maintenance
→ ALWAYS disconnect the power cord before performing any maintenance on the unit ←
Daily Maintenance
To clean the exterior of the steamer, use a damp cloth. Do not use solvents or cleaning agents; these
may harm the plastic surfaces and labeling. Clean the exterior of the unit after each use.
Check and clean the water and detergent filters at the end of every use (Fig 14).
At the end of every operation day, check the boiler maintenance icon on the control panel (fig 5.). If
the unit needs service, the indicator will say “Clean”. If the indicator is on, reference the parts and
operations manual (separate publication) for complete instructions on how to descale the boiler
without the need for tools or service personnel.
Weekly Maintenance
Once per week, check the hose end plug seals that attach to the machine. If necessary replace with
the spare seals. Inspect the connection seals (O-ring type) where the extension wands connect
together and where the extension wands and operators handle meet.

Filling water and Detergent Tanks
To fill the unit with water, open the cap and fill the water tank (fig. 5) with cold tap water. Use a
funnel or other suitable device if necessary. Re-install the reservoir cap when finished
Note: The hardness of the water should be less than 17.5 grains of hardness (CaCO
₃/gal.). If the
water supply hardness is higher than this level, we recommend use of a mixture of water containing
50% tap water and 50% demineralized water.
To fill the detergent tank (fig. 5), follow the same procedure as above for filling water
PLEASE NOTE: THE CLEAN WATER RESERVOIR MUST ALWAYS BE FILLED WITH WATER - NEVER
ADD DETGERGENT IN THE WATER RESERVOIR. Use of a detergent in the water tank may seriously
damage the product. If a funnel is used to fill the detergent tank, rinse the funnel under running
water before using it to fill the water tank.
Detergent
Only use steam rated detergents (as defined by the detergent manufacturer). Refer to the label and
instructions provided on the detergent container for dilutions and directions for the use in steamers.
PLEASE NOTE: Never use foaming or acid-based cleaning agents. These agents may damage the
internal components of the machine. Never use muriatic acid or ammonia-based cleaning agents or
cleaning agents based on products classed as irritants. Use with steam increases the volatility of
such substances, which are harmful when inhaled.
Any warranty claims that result from the use of detergents not conforming to the above indications
will be rejected and the warranty voided.

Attachment of Steam Hose
Insert the hose connector into the steamers vacuum-steam port as shown (fig. 8) by pressing the
plug into the port until button clicks. Check that the connector is firmly positioned by gently pulling
backward on it to ensure it is locked in place. Ensure that the hose is firmly connected to the
machine! To disconnect the hose from the steamer, press the connector button “A” (fig. 8) and pull
to separate it from the steamer
Machine Steam Function
Turn the main power switch on (fig. 9) to activate the display. Press button to turn on the boiler (fig.
10). The steam icon (fig.10) on the display will blink. When the steam icon stops blinking (about 10-
12 minutes) the steamer is ready to generate steam.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not begin dispensing steam if the steam icon is blinking when first turned on. Wait
until the icon has switched to non-blinking mode and the system is ready to use.
Press the steam demand button (fig. 11) on the handle to start dispensing. Press the steam volume
adjustment button located on the top of the handle (fig.12) to vary the flow of steam. There are
three steam-flow settings as indicated by the LCD display (fig.10)
Some drops of liquid water may form when the steamer is first used. This is from condensation
within the sleeve. Aim the first steam jet toward a piece of cloth to catch the liquid until the jet
becomes uniformly steam.
Steam/detergent function
Press detergent button on the control panel (fig. 10). The detergent icon on the display will start to
blink. The machine is now ready to dispense detergent on demand.
To dispense detergent, press the detergent on/off button on the operators handle (fig.12). This
enables the pump to deliver the detergent solution when the on demand steam button is activated
(fig. 11).
The unit will continue to dispense detergent until it is turned off. To turn-off the detergent function,
press the on/off button once. The icon will flash to indicate this function is now disabled. To turn off
the detergent function completely, press the red button on the control panel once (fig.10).
No water
When there is no water in the water reservoir the no water icon on the display (fig. 10) begins to
blink, along with an audible alarm. To refill the tanks, follow the “filling water and detergent tanks”
instructions above.
