Menu/notications Shows each setting menu and notications for updates.

Main volume Adjusts the overall volume for the selected Scene.

Scene/Setlist
Shows the name of the currently selected Scene. You can use the [ç] and [æ] buttons on the left and right sides of
the display area (if they are visible) to switch between Scenes.
Scene mode: Click the Scene tab to enter Scene mode. You can select and load Scenes from the Scene Browser
(this is shown when you click a Scene name). You can also use instruments and sounds to create a new Scene from
scratch.
Setlist mode: Click the Setlist tab to enter Setlist mode. You can load more than one Scene at once into a Setlist, for
seamlessly switching between Scenes. Creating and saving Setlists can be useful when you’re playing live. Click the
Scene name to open the Setlist Browser.

Search for the sounds you like by using the type lter, pack lter, and so on.

Click an arrow located above one of the columns to sort the preset list by that eld.

You can input some text to narrow down the search results.
You can lter by preset name, preset type, preset tag, and preset description.

dFilter type selection
MATCH ANY: Shows all presets that match any of your search words.
ALL: Shows only the presets that match all of your search words.

This lets you mark presets as favorites.

aPack lter
You can lter the preset list by Roland Cloud pack titles.
The packs are shown with the Roland Cloud pack artwork.
Scroll vertically to see more packs.
When Multi Select is on, you can select multiple packs by clicking on their artwork to lter them. The selection
toggles between on/o with each click.
When selecting multiple packs, you can click [x] to deselect all packs.

There are various ways to narrow down the pack titles. Use the lter buttons (such as New, Analog Synths, and
Drum Machines) to the right of the PACKS label to lter the related pack titles.
You can also lter by genre, and input text into the search eld to narrow down the results.

split editor
Click the keyboard icon to show the mini keyboard at the bottom of the screen.
To congure the key range, transpose, and MIDI device selections for each layer, click the [EDIT] button below the
keyboard icon.

Layer octave setting You can transpose each layer up or down by three octaves.

Layer transpose setting You can transpose each layer six semitones up or down.

Layer key range
You can create custom layers and splits by specifying a key range for each layer.
You can set the key range by direct input, by dragging from the left or right side of the keyboard, by clicking the
Learn Low/Learn High buttons and then specifying a note from an external MIDI device, and so on.
Click the [Reset] button to reset the key range to the default value.

MIDI input and channel
settings You can set each layer to receive only via the specied MIDI device or channel.

Bus sub-tabs
When the mixer is in split screen mode, use the sub-tabs to switch between the layer and bus section
mixers.

Layer mixer: insert slots
You can add up to two insert eects for each layer.
Click an insert slot on a layer to select that slot. The eects are shown in the eect view to the right of
the mixer.
If an eect is not loaded in the slot, you can select an eect from the Eect Browser.

Layer mixer: send levels Each layer has two send eects. You can adjust the send amount for each layer.

Layer mixer: lters These are high-pass and low-pass lters that operate within a range of 32 Hz–24 kHz.

Layer mixer: pan These let you set the panning individually for each layer.

Layer mixer: volume, mute, solo Use these to adjust the volume for each layer, and to mute/solo the layers.
The faders operate within a range of -inf to +10 dB.

FX menu, [Ā] button Use this button to turn the eects on/o, or to delete eects from the menu button.

FX preset Lets you choose a preset for the selected eect.

Bus: main channel
This mixes all layers for the four main channels and sends the channels to the stereo mix. It also adjusts
the overall volume for the Scene.
For the main channel, you can use a limiter eect to prevent clipping, as well as two insert FX. You can
also mix in mono, or apply a low-pass/high-pass lter to adjust the overall tone of the Scene.

a Bus: routing panel Use the routing panel to change the audio outputs for each layer to the output destinations you choose.

b Bus sub-tab: monitor channels You can use the [Mon.V] knobs to the right of each layer to adjust the monitor volume for each layer and
FX bus.

Bus: monitor channel This is a dedicated channel for monitoring the main bus output during a live performance.
You can also use this for individual routing and volume control.

Macro controllers

The GALAXIAS features two banks of eight macro controllers. These controllers let you assign many of the parameters within a Scene.
You can link up to eight parameters from the synthesizers, eects, and mixer to each macro controller, which you can use to make powerful and
dramatic changes to the sound.

Multi-link mode When multi-link mode is enabled, you can link a controller to a parameter just by operating the desired parameter.

Parameter settings
Edits the setting for each linked parameter.
¹Bar icon: variable range (upper/lower limit) setting for the value
¹[Invert] button: toggles the parameter between + (positive) and − (negative)

Smart link mode
When Smart Link mode is enabled, you can operate the parameter that you want to assign. This automatically
assigns the variable range and parameter invert settings, according to how much and in which direction you turn
the knobs.

Clear all links Click the [Clear] button to remove the links to all parameters.

MIDI Learn function
You can assign a message to a macro control knob by clicking the [Learn MIDI CC] button and sending the control
change message from an external MIDI device.
The MIDI channel and controller number are shown when the link is established.

The default mode for GALAXIAS is Scene mode.
In this mode, you can freely combine various instruments, eects, macro controllers and so on to create, save, and select your own Scenes.
When you load a saved Scene, you can change any of the settings including the instruments, eects, and macro controller assignments.

Create new Scene Click the [New Scene] button to create a new Scene.
This removes the existing Scene (if there is one) and creates an empty Scene.

Add Scene cover image You can assign an image you like onto each Scene as Scene cover art. Click the image icon to select the image.
Hint: You can also drag and drop image les to import them into a Scene.

Save Scene Once you’ve created a Scene, click the [Save Scene] button to save the Scene to the Scene library.

Scene Browser: show/hide You can show all Scenes from the Scene Browser.
Click the Scene name in the top bar to show/hide the Scene Browser.
