4. Seedthedata–Dataseedingisthe

processofcreatinganinitialcopyofthebackupdataoutsidetheBackup

ExecContinuousProtectionServerframeworkbeforeanycontinuousprotectionjobshavebeenrun.Thisis

notrequired;however,copyingtheinitialdatausingthismethodologyisbeneficialinenvironmentswhere

continuousprotectionjobsarerunoverslow

networkconnectionssuchasaWideAreaNetwork(WAN).



onthevirtualdiskintheprevioussection.DonotstorethedataintheBEControlor

BEDatafoldersthatare
