3. FILLING THE WATER TANK
Place the iron in an upright position on a
stable heat resistant surface.
Turn the temperature selector to the
“MIN” position and plug the iron into the
mains.
The iron will reach operating
temperature in approximately 5 minutes.
The automatic thermostat will maintain
correct temperature during operation.
When selecting an operating
temperature, follow the indications
provided on the garment to be ironed. In
the event that no temperature indication
is provided, the following table can be
used as a guide:
Fabric Temperature
Synthetic fibres - Silk
Wool •
Cotton - Linen • • • (MAX)
If in doubt as to the composition of
a garment fabric, start with a low
temperature, ironing a hidden part of
the garment, and gradually increase the
temperature until creases disappear

8. INFORMATION FOR THE CORRECT
DISPOSAL OF ELECTRICAL AND
ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
At the end of its working
life, the product must not
be disposed of as urban
waste. It must be taken to
a special local authority
differentiated waste
collection centre or to a
dealer providing this service. Disposing of
a household appliance separately avoids
possible negative consequences for the
environment and health deriving from
inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to
obtain significant savings in energy and
resources.
To remind you that you must collaborate
with a selective collection scheme, the
symbol shown appears on the product
warning you not to dispose of it in
traditional refuse containers.
For further information, contact your local
authority or the shop where you bought the
product.
The surface of the base (8) should be kept
clean at all times. To clean, run a damp
cloth over the surface when cold.
To avoid scratches to the base surface,
avoid ironing staples, zips, metallic buttons,
etc., and likewise do not place the iron on
metallic or rough surfaces.
After each use, empty the tank of water
and leave the iron to cool before folding
down the handle and storing (See section 6
“Storage”).
