1.Stopthemotorandremovethebattery.
2.Cleandirtanddebrisfromthebodyofthe
hedgetrimmer,usingadampclothwithamild
detergent.
Note:Donotuseanystrongdetergentson
theplastichousingorthehandle.Theycanbe
damagedbycertainaromaticoils,suchaspine
andlemon,andbysolventssuchaskerosene.
3.Laythehedgetrimmeronaatsurface.Apply
light-weightmachineoilalongtheedgeofthe
topblade.Ifyouwillbeusingthehedgetrimmer
foranextendedperiodoftime,oiltheblade
duringuse.
