Installing the grass catcher
Follow the safety instructions and operating instructions in the operating manual for the lawn tractor.
Before installing the grass catcher, park the lawn tractor on a level surface, apply the parking brake,
switch the engine off and remove the spark-plug terminal.
Installation diagrams
The installation diagrams 1 to 15 are at the front (illustrated fold-out pages) of the manual.
Fig. 1 shows the individual parts of the grass catcher.

1. Remove the 4 bolts from the rear frame of the lawn tractor (Fig. 2).
Note: The bolts are no longer required for further installation of the grass catcher.
2. Using the 4 bolts (J), mount the holder (E) on the rear frame of the lawn tractor (Fig. 3).
Note: Ensure that the bolts have also been inserted through the rear tubular frame to secure it correctly.
3. Insert the retaining plate of the basket support (D) into the recess of the holder (E) mounted previously
and secure the basket support to the holder using the screw (I) (Fig. 4).
Note: Ensure that the components are positioned correctly.
4. Using the two stud bolts, insert the cover (B) through the mounting holes (on left and right) of the basket
support and secure the cover with the 2 nuts (L) – (Fig. 5).
5. Open the cover (Fig. 11) and hook both grass catcher bags (A) into the basket support (Fig. 14). To do
this, hook the grass catcher bag at the front into the basket support and then press the rear area of the
grass catcher bag downwards until it is positioned firmly in the basket support (Fig. 14).
6. Close the cover on the grass catcher (Fig. 15).
Note: Ensure that the cover engages correctly.
7. Install the discharge channel (C) – ( Figs 6 and 7):
Insert the upper end of the discharge channel (C) into the opening in the grass catcher cover (Fig. 6).
Note: In doing so, turn the discharge channel slightly.
Remove the discharge flap or the mulch locking part from the cutter deck.
Mount the lower connection piece of the discharge channel on the cutter deck and secure the
connection piece with the nuts removed previously from the discharge flap/mulch locking part (Fig.7).
Note: Ensure that the components are positioned correctly.
8. Mount the holder (F) with the 2 bolts (N), 2 flat washers (H) and 2 nuts (K) on the
front counterweight (G) – (Fig. 8).
9. Remove front bumper (if mounted) from the rider with bolts and nuts (fig. 9).
10. Fix the pre-mounted unit consisting of front counterweight and holder with the 2 bolts (M),
2 flat washers (H) and the 2 nuts (K) through the two holes in the front frame of the rider (fig. 10).
11. Inspect the installation and perform a function test.
Operating the grass catcher
The unit, with attached grass catcher, may be operated on slopes with a maximum incline of 15% only.
Emptying
Switch off the engine and wait until all rotating parts have come to a standstill.
Apply parking brake.
Open grass catcher cover and lift up (Fig. 12).
First lift grass catcher bags (A) slightly in the rear area and then take out of the supports (Fig. 13).
Empty grass catcher bags.
Re-attach grass catcher bags (Fig. 14).
Close grass catcher cover again (Fig.15). When closing the cover, ensure that it engages correctly.
Attention !
Switch off the engine before opening the grass catcher cover.
