Omega LVCN-71/-72/-73 are Continuous RF Capacitance Transmitters or Controllers with Strobe Alert. They are used to measure the level of liquid in a tank using a 1 MHz pulse-wave radio frequency signal. The change in capacitance is converted into a 4 to 20 mA output, which can be used to indicate the level of the liquid. The sensor is made of FEP (Fluorinated Ethylene Propylene) and is compatible with a wide range of liquids. It has a maximum temperature rating of 70°C and a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi @ 25°C. The sensor is available in different lengths, up to 120 inches.
