Genesis GTS10SB is a 10" Table Saw, powered by a 15 Amp motor, giving it enough power to cut through various materials with ease. Thanks to its 40T Carbide Blade, it can handle even the toughest jobs. The saw's table measures 24" L x 20" W, providing ample space for larger workpieces. With a cutting capacity of 3" at 90 degrees and 2-1/2" at 45 degrees, this saw can handle a wide range of cutting tasks. It also features a miter gauge and a rip fence for precise cuts, as well as a push-stick for safe operation. The saw comes with a metal stand for added stability and durability.

TOOL USE AND CARE

• Secure the work piece. Useclamporotherpracticalwaytoholdtheworkpiecetoa

stableplatform.Holdingtheworkpiecebyhandoragainstyourbodyisunstableandmayleadto

lossofcontrol.

•Donotforcethepowertool.Thetoolwillperformthejobbetterandsaferatthefeed

rateforwhichitisdesigned.Forcingthetoolcouldpossiblydamagethetoolandmayresultin

personalinjury.

•Usethecorrectpowertoolforthejob.Don’tforcethetoolorattachmenttodoa

•Feedtheworkpieceinthecorrectdirectionandspeed.Feedthework

pieceintoablade,cutter,orabrasivesurfaceagainstthedirectionofthecuttingtool’sdirection

ofrotationonly.Incorrectlyfeedingtheworkpieceinthesamedirectionmaycausethework

piecetobethrownoutathighspeed.

•Neverleavethetoolrunningunattended,turnthepoweroff.Donot

leavethetooluntilitcomestoacompletestop.

•Neverstartthepowertoolwhenanyrotatingcomponentisin

contact with the work piece.

Always operate tool in a well-ventilated area and provide for proper dust

removal. Use dust collection system wherever possible. Exposure to the dust

may cause serious and permanent respiratory or other injury, including silicosis

(a serious lung disease), cancer, and death. Avoid breathing the dust, and avoid

prolonged contact with the dust. Allowing dust to get into your mouth or eyes,

or lay on your skin may promote absorption of harmful material. Always use

properly ﬁtting NIOSH/OSHA approved respiratory protection appropriate for

dust exposure, and wash exposed areas with soap and water.

SERVICE

• Have your power tool Serviced by a qualiﬁed repair person using

only identical replacement parts. Thiswillensurethatthesafetyofthepowertool

ismaintained.

•Serviceyourpowertoolperiodically.Whencleaningatool,becarefulnotto

disassembleanyportionofthetoolsinceinternalwiresmaybemisplacedorpinched.

EXTENSIONCORDS

Grounded tools require a three wire extension cord.Doubleinsulatedtoolscan

useeitheratwoorthreewireextensioncord.Asthedistancefromthepowersupplyoutletincreases,

youmustuseaheaviergaugeextensioncord.Usingextensioncordswithinadequatelysizedwire

causesaseriousdropinvoltage,resultinginlossofpowerandpossibletooldamage.Refertothe

tableshownbelowtodeterminetherequiredminimumwiresize.

Thesmallerthegaugenumberofthewire,thegreaterthecapacityofthecord.Forexample:a

14-gaugecordcancarryahighercurrentthana16-gaugecord.Whenusingmorethanoneextension

cordtomakeupthetotallength,besureeachcordcontainsatleasttheminimumwiresizerequired.

Ifyouareusingoneextensioncordformorethanonetool,addthenameplateamperesandusethe

sumtodeterminetherequiredminimumwiresize.

• Do not cut metals with the table saw. Tablesawsaredesignedtocutwood-likeor

plasticmaterials.However,somewoodandplasticmaterialsarequitehardandslippery.Theanti-

kickbackpawlsmaynotstopkickback.Donotstand,orletanyonestandinlinewithpotential

kickback.

• Toavoidtippingyourtablesawinoperation,rmlyBOLTittoawork

stand or bench. Longworkpiecesneedextrasupportontheout-feedside.

• Unplugsawfrompowersourcebeforemakingadjustments,repairs,

• Alwaysusebladeguard,splitterandanti-kickbackpawlsonall

through cutting operations. Theguardsystemisdesignedtoreducetheintensityof

kickbackandkeepyourhandsawayfromthespinningblade.

saw and unplugging the saw from the power source.
