inmindandconstructedofhighqualitymaterialsanddesignedforyearsoftrouble-
freeuse.
BeforeusingyourSportsArtT630Treadmill,werecommendthatyoufamiliarize
yourselfwiththisOwner'sManual.Whetheryouareafirsttimeuserofatreadmillor
aseasoned"PRO",understandingthecorrectuseoftheequipmentwillenhance

PEDESTALANDHANDLEASSEMBLY
STEP1.First,removethesideplatesofthepedestals(bothleftandright).Then
threadthedatacablethroughtherightpedestal.Securethepedestalsby
fasteningtheboltswithwashersasshown.Atthispoint,doNOTtighten
theseboltssecurely.(SeeFig.1.)
STEP2.Connectthedatacable.Thenholdthehandlebarsontothepedestals.

B:flatwashers)asshown.Thenputthedecorativecoversinplace.After
that,firmlytightentheboltstosecurethepedestalsandsecurethepedestal
sidecovers(bothleftandright)inplace.(SeeFig.3.)

thebody;30-and45-minutedurationsareavailableintheseincline-based

Theword"telemetryheartrate"referstothedetectionoftheheartrate,usuallyviaa
strapwornontheexerciser'schest,andtransmittedovertheairforreceptionbya
receiverbuiltintotheproduct.Thefollowingexplainsconditionsthatinfluencethe
performanceofthetelemetryheartratefunctioninallproducts.
1.Thetelemetryheartratetransmitteremitsawireless5kHzsignalthatisharmlessto
thehumanbody.Insidethetransmitterisa3Vbattery(CR2032).Ifthebattery
chargeistoolow,eitherthereceptiondistanceshortensortherewillbenoreception
whatsoever.
2.Securethetelemetryheartratetransmitteronyourchestsoitisneithertootightnor
tooloose.Moistentheskinforbettercontact.
3.Thetelemetryheartratereceiveracceptsa5kHzwirelesssignal,butbecausethe
signalvariesfrom20Hzto20KHz,itissusceptibletoenvironmentalinterference.
Stereos,TVs,otherelectronicproducts,thevibrationbetweentheunitandthefloor,
andotherfactorsmayinterferewithtelemetryheartratesignalreception.Forbest
results,installtheproductinalocationfreefrominterferingitems.
4.Placefitnessproductsapartbyatleast100cmtoavoidhavingtheheartratevalue
fromanexerciserononeproductappearonanotherproduct.
5.Heartratevaluesareforcomparisononly.Donotusethemformedicaltreatment
orotherpurposes.
Itiseasytousethecontactheartratemechanism.Simplyputbothhandsonthesilver
contactplates(oneperside)andholdthemtherecontinuously.Assoonasyourpulse
isreceivedandcalculated,theheartratewillautomaticallyappearonthedisplay.
Pleasenotethatsomepeoplehaveveryweakheartbeats.Thismakesheartrate
detectiondifficult.Undersuchcircumstances,thecontactheartratemechanismmay
notdetectheartrate.
