Replacing the Pulley
Important These instructions are to be used when
installing your snowthrower. Refer to your operator
manual for complete snowthrower installation.
Replacing the Crank Support
Note: The first step only needs to be done if crank support
is already installed.
1. Remove hairpin cotter at U-joint and slide crank
handle out of support (Fig. 1).

2. Install the crank handle into the new crank support.
Install crank handle into the U–joint with hairpin
cotter (Fig. 1).
Replacing the Pulley
Note: The first three steps only need to be done if the
pulley is already installed.
1. Remove the belt off the snowthrower pulley (Fig. 2).

2. Remove the two screws from the pulley (Fig. 3).
3. Remove the pulley from the shaft (Fig. 3).
4. Install the new pulley onto the shaft. Make sure the
key is in place on the shaft (Fig. 3).
5. Install the two screws into the pulley (Fig. 3).

Note: Make sure that one of the screws is installed on top
of the key.
