1. Only use grounded cords marked for outdoor use rated for your loads.
2. Follow cord safety instructions.
3. Install carbon monoxide alarm(s).
4. When operating generator with extension cords, make sure it is located in an
open, outdoor area, at least 20 ft. (6.1 m.) from occupied spaces with exhaust
pointed away.
5. Extension cords running directly into your home, powering indoor items IS NOT
RECOMMENDED. Extension cords running directly into the home increase your
risk of carbon monoxide poisoning through openings. If an extension cord is used
to power indoor items, the operator recognizes that this increases the risk of CO
poisoning to people inside the home and assumes that risk.
6. DO NOT connect generator to a home’s electrical system.

1. Utilisez uniquement des cordons mis à la terre marqués pour un usage

4. Lors de l’utilisation du générateur avec des rallonges, assurez-vous qu’il est
situé dans une zone extérieure, ouverte, au minimum à 6.1 m (20 pi) des
espaces occupés avec l’échappement à l’opposé.
5. L’utilisation de rallonges allant directement dans la maison, alimentant des
objets d’intérieur N’EST PAS RECOMMANDÉE. L’utilisation de rallonges
allant directement dans la maison augmente votre risque d’intoxication
au monoxyde de carbone par les ouvertures. Si vous utilisez une rallonge
allant directement dans la maison pour alimenter des objets d’intérieur, vous
reconnaissez que cela augmente le risque d’intoxication au monoxyde de
carbone des personnes à l’intérieur de la maison et assumez ce risque.
6. NE PAS relier la génératrice au système électrique d’une résidence.
Si on n’utilise pas la génératrice régulièrement, la batterie doit être branchée à un chargeur
d’entretien ou à un mainteneur de batterie (non inclus) pour maintenir sa charge.
