Product Description:
This product was developed to provide exterior protection without detracting from the texture and graining of natural
wood. Two coats are recommended for maximum protection on most new or unfinished woods. A single coat is
recommended for porches, railings and outdoor furniture.
Precautions:
DO NOT use over previously painted, solid stained or varnished surfaces. Temperatures of both air and surface should
be at least 50°F (10°C) during application and drying time. Do not apply in hot sunlight or if wet weather is expected
within 48 hours. Surfaces are slippery when wet. Use caution when walking on wet surfaces during application. Do not
mix with oil, water or other types of paint or stain. All loose surface wood fibers must be completely removed. Storm
System stains provide maximum resistance to fading and mildew.
Architectural Specifications:
•Unfinished Wood Decks, Siding, Rails, Posts, Fences, Patios, Screening and Outdoor Furniture;
1 Coat Storm System Dual Dispersion Semi-Transparent Finish #225 Series
•Previously Stained Surfaces (after proper preparation);

Note: New pressure treated wood must be thoroughly scrubbed with a solution of Tri-sodium phosphate and water,
rinsed clean and allowed to dry completely before finishing. Do not use interchangeably on the same substrate with
other Storm System products as you may note differences in appearance. Appearance varies with different species of
wood. Samples should be tested on the actual wood being used to insure an acceptable appearance.

control lead exposure. Carefully clean up with a wet mop or HEPA vacuum. Before you start, find out how to protect
yourself and your family by contacting the U.S. EPA/Lead Information Hotline at 1-800-424-LEAD (5323) or log on to
