1. Product Availability
We are pleased to announce Product Availability of the Genesys 8.1.0 Media (Premise T-
Servers) effective June 27, 2011.
No approval from Product Management is required for this release.
The Genesys Media T-Server DVD as well as the Genesys HA Proxy CD is now available.
Note that T-Servers are provided in a DVD format which contains both the Tier-1 (version
8.1.0) and Tier-2 (versions 8.0.1, 7.6, and 7.5) T-Servers.
The HA Proxies are provided in a CD format which contains version 7.5 and version 7.0.2 HA
Proxies.
2. Product Information
Media - 8.1.0 DVD
This DVD contains the following 8.1.0 T-Servers:

Genesys T-Servers 8.1.0 have the following new features:

Support for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 64-bit.
Support for HP-UX Itanium (version 11i v3).
Support for AIX 7.1.
Support for vSphere 4 Hypervisor.

Support for Unresponsive Process Detection.
T-Server no longer connects to applications disabled in the configuration environment.
The default value of the background-processing configuration option has been changed to

For Genesys T-Servers the sellable Item is:
