ICE CREAM KIT / ICK200
INTRODUCTION
The ICE CREAM KIT from Nostalgia Electrics™ is a fun and easy way to
make sweet and delicious ice cream. This kit makes two quarts of chocolate
and two quarts of vanilla ice cream using the Nostalgia Electrics™ brand
ice cream makers, or other quality ice cream makers. Kit includes:
Mix to make 2 quarts of chocolate ice cream•
Mix to make 2 quarts of vanilla ice cream•
4lbs of rock salt separated into two 2lb. packs •
HOW TO MAKE ICE CREAM USING AN ELECTRIC ICE CREAM MAKER
Chill ice cream Canister until cold to the touch.1.
Add four cups of cold milk to the ICE CREAM KIT mix and stir until well combined.2.
Pour chilled ice cream mixture into the chilled Canister. Make sure that you do 3.
not fill Canister more than ²/3 full, as mixture will expand during freezing process.
Insert the Dasher into the Canister and make sure the bottom of 4.

Place the Lid on the Canister. Place the Canister into the bottom center of 5.

Fill the Ice Cream Bucket with a small layer of ice evenly 6.

Cover the first layer of ice evenly with a thin layer of rock salt (about ½ cup).7.
Continue layering the ice and rock salt until it reaches the top of the Canister.
Add cold water to the ice-salt mixture until the water level reaches 8.

Transfer ice cream to a freezer-safe container and 13.

HOW TO MAKE ICE CREAM IN THE FREEZER
Simply add 4 cups of cold milk to your choice of ice cream mix flavor. Stir
well and add to freezer safe container. Freeze overnight and serve.
HELPFUL TIPS
The rock salt is not fit for human consumption. DO NOT eat the rock salt or
use it in any food recipe. Use only as directed. Ice cream makers vary. Always
follow the directions that come with your own ice cream maker for best results.
