Decre a se volume by pre s sing the “ - “ s ide of the - VOLUME + button. Incre a s e volume by
pre s s ing the “+” s ide of the switch.
(HOLD) Fu n c tio n
Move the HOLD switch to the pos ition showing the clos e d lock (le ft).
Whe n Hold is ON, all controls are locke d out a nd a lock icon appea rs in the ce nte r top of the
LCD display. If you press any controls , you will se e on the displa y: KEY LOCKED
Be sure to switch the HOLD button to the UNLOCK pos ition (right) to use the unit.

Saving Stations
From the FM TUNER menu, press and hold Menu button for 2 seconds. You will enter
the FM TUNER submenu. Use the PREV or NEXT button to scroll to the SAVE STATION
selection. Press the MENU button to save the current station.

Making Selections

Record Time
From the sys te m s e tting, select the RECORD TIME sub-me nu (us ing the P REV or NEXT
buttons to scroll to the selection).

NEXT buttons to make your se lections. The numbe rs you se lect are in s e conds . If “0” is
se lecte d, the function is turne d off.
“Slee p Timer” refe rs to a s e tting where you ca n se t a fi xed pe riod of time (unit: minute s )
at which the pla ye r will turn off automatica lly whe n no ke ys are pre s s e d no ma tte r which
mode the playe r is in. Note : S lee p Time r settings a re va lid only once and the s e t time will
be cle a re d afte r power off. This s etting mus t be res e t each time it is use d.

Online Mode (Private Space Settings)
The ope ra ting s te ps are the sa me a s thos e for the Equa lize r se ttings .
Some ope ra ting systems (those rele a s e d prior to Windows 2K SP 4) ca nnot s upport two
driver le tte rs on one US B disk. Thus , if the “P rivate Spa ce ” function is on, choos e which
disk you are going to us e , i.e., “single ordina ry dis k” or “s ingle encrypte d dis k” in orde r for
a corre ct dis play of the s e le cted disk afte r conne cting to your P C.
The Private Spa ce functions are explaine d late r in this ma nua l.
Memory Settings
