Infineon CY3290-CYAT8168X is an automotive multitouch evaluation kit that provides a comprehensive platform for evaluating and developing touch-based applications in automotive environments. Kit contents

Install the latest version of TTHE from the Infineon
development center by registering to myInfineon.
The TTHE soware can be downloaded from
https://sowaretools.infineon.com/TTHE
Review the kit contents as shown on the previous page.
Connect the USB stick to your computer. Run cyautorun.exe from the USB
stick's root directory to install the kit soware and drivers.
Connect the CYAT8168X EVK assembly to your computer using the
USB cable. Make sure the PWRSEL switch is towards the PC port.
Wait for the kit driver enumeration to complete. The Power LED (Red)
on the sensor board turns on. Then, launch the Touch Tuning Host
Emulator from the Start menu.
Click Open Project and browse to select C:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\
CY3290-CYAT8168X AUTOMOTIVE EVK\<version>\TTHE Config Files\TSG6_XL
_GC6_CYAT81688-100AS77_EVK\TSG6_XL_GC6_CYAT81688-100AS77
_EVK.config.
Click Tools > Options. Select I2C, set I2C Clock to 400K, and set the Touch
Tuning Bridge (TTBridge)I2C Pins to Pin 6,8; click OK.

Click Toggle Connection/Power to power the EVK board. The icon
changes to.
If the TTBridge FW Upgrade window pops up, verify if the TTBridge version
is 1.35 or later. If it is not, then update the firmware by clicking Yes.
Click Close when complete. Click No if the version is already 1.35 or later.
Click Run to read the configurable parameters. The pop-up window
shows the progress of the read configurable parameters.
Click Close when complete if the status window does not close automatically.
This step is necessary only if the above window is displayed. This will occur if
the device's configuration does not match the project's configuration.
Click Sync All From Project to download the configuration parameters from
the TTHE project to the device. Click Apply.
Place fingers on the glass. The grid shows the finger touch locations.
