Eyepiece focussing
• Look at a distant object through the eyepiece of the BRESS-
ER sighting telescope. In this instance, the eye-distance
should be approx. 95-100mm to the eyepiece.
If the view in the recticle appears out of focus, then please
turn the diopter setting (2) on the eyepiece until the view is now
in focus.
Never look directly into sunlight, or anywhere near the
sun itself, with this device. Doing so could result in BLIND-
NESS!
Attachment to the weapon
In order to ensure accurate shooting, the sighting telescope
must be firmly attached to the weapon.
• The sighting telescope must be fixed to the weapon with an
assembly. These are specifically designed for your weapon
type and are not included in the scope of delivery. Only use
high-quality assemblies that are specific to your weapon type
in order to avoid damage to the weapon and the sighting tel-
escope.
The sighting telescope should be mounted as close as possi-
ble to the weapon. There should be absolutely no contact with
the barrel or the shaft.

Before you securely fix the fastening rings, make sure that the
eye-distance is properly aligned and that you are able to use
the whole field of view of the device too. Please also pay atten-
tion to accessories such as lens caps as well.
Zooming in
Zooming in is carried out by the aligning of the target crosshair
of the sighting telescope to the weapon‘s point of impact resp.
with examining the point of impact of the weapon/sighting tele-
scope combination with the mounted sighting telescope.
Important!
Consider all legal requirements, safety precautions as well as
accident prevention regulations and meet them for the use of
firearms.
• Place a target at about 100m (100 yds.) in front of a suitable
backstop (level with the shooting position)
Place the gun onto a shooting rest or other suitable solid
support and align it with the target
• Turn the diopter adjustment (2) until the target is in focus
• Fire a shot at the centre of the target
• When the targeted point and the point of impact deviate un-
screw the lid of the windage (left / right) and elevation towers
19
(up / down) and turn them to adjust the aiming (1/4 MoA, or
about 7.5 mm / click; the direction of the rotation needed is
shown on the towers)
Make two or three more shots. If necessary, repeat the ad-
justment.
