Quick Guide for i.Tech Bluetooth Stereo Speaker/Headset
and the MSI BluePlayer (For Nokia N73 only)
Before Starting:
Please prepare the following items:
i) The MSI BluePlayer programs, “MSI_SDK30_0814.sis

, which are
stored in the CD-ROM that comes with the package.

“MSI_SDK30_0814.sis” – suitable for Nokia N73
If you do not have the CD-ROM, contact your dealer to obtain the
program or visit the i.Tech website:

ii) MP3 files for trial – either store them in the handset or on a MiniSD card.
Tips: To achieve the best playback performance, please use the 128kbps MP3 file.
A) MSI BluePlayer Installation:
1. Transfer the BluePlayer program file to the MiniSD card via a card
reader or directly copy it onto the handset (for details on how to do this,
please check your handset user guide).
2. To install the program, please open the BluePlayer program file from
where the file was copied to, the installation will automatically start.
3. You will be prompted Application is untrusted and may have
problems. Install only if you trust provider”, please select “Yes” to
continue.
4. You will be prompted “Install Mpob”, please select “Yes” to continue.
5. Please select Install” and then select the language for your MSI
BluePlayer.
6. Check for a “MSI BluePlayer” icon on the handset main menu which
indicates the installation is completed.

B) Pairing:
Please follow the steps below to ensure a successful pairing with the
BluePlayer.
1. Press and hold the Multi-Function Button (MFB) on the device until the
LED alternately flashes blue and red.
2. Refer to your handset and go to “Main Menu> Connect.> Bluetooth>
Paired devices”, then select “Option> New Paired device” and it will
start searching for nearby Bluetooth devices.
3. Select the device "i.Tech xxxx" that you wish to pair from the list and
enter passcode “8888”.
4. You will be prompted “Authorise device to make connections
automatically?” Please select “Yes” to continue.
5. Select Option> Connect” and return to the main menu.
6. Go to "Main Menu" > "My Software" and start the MSI BluePlayer”.
7. Once you start the MSI BluePlayer, you will be prompted “This
application will make use of the following features of your phone. If
you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at….. ” Please
select “Yes” to continue.
8. Go to Option and select "Select Device" and please select device
"i.Tech xxxx" from the list.
9. You can now add your favourite MP3 songs to the Playlist (Please refer
to Section C) and start playing your tunes
Your Bluetooth headset is now ready to receive calls and listen to the music
with the MSI BluePlayer.
Trouble Shooting
1. If the connection process is not completed within 2 MINUTES, reattempt
pairing procedure in section B.
2. If you wish to pair a new Bluetooth stereo headset for the MSI BluePlayer,
you must first delete the paired device from “Main Menu> Connect.>
Bluetooth> Paired devices.”

C) Music Playing Operation:
1. Add Playlist
To add a MP3 file from your handset’s internal memory or the MiniSD
card please go to “Options > Playlist > Add File” on your handset.
To add MP3 files from the folder of your handset’s internal memory
or the MINISD card please go to “Options > Playlist > Add Files From
Folder” on your handset.
2. Delete Playlist
To delete a MP3 file from the Playlist, please go to “Options > Playlist
> Remove Files”
To delete multiple MP3 files from the Playlist, press “Pen” and “OK
on the files you want to delete, then press “C”
To delete the entire Playlist, please go to “Options > Playlist > Remove
All”
3. Shuffle/Repeat
To play the Playlist randomly, please go to “Options > Misc > Shuffle”
To repeat ALL files in the Playlist, please go to “Options > Misc >
Repeat All”
4. MP3 infomation
To view the MP3 MPEG information, please go to “Options > Misc >
MP3 MPEG Info
To view the MP3 ID3v1 Tag information, please go to “Options > Misc
> MP3 ID3v1 Tag”
5. Load/Save device
If you have another stereo headset, you may also pair it with the
BluePlayer so that you can save the profile and load it later. Please
go to “Options > Setting > Save Device”
There will be three slots to store the information.

6. Shortcut Key mapping
<OK> = Press Enter/Select
<2> = Stop
<right> = Next song
<left> = Previous song
<5> = Mpeg info
<6> = ID3V1 info
<7> = Shuffle enable/disable
<9> = Repeat All enable/disable
<*> = Add file
<#> = Add files from folder
<c> = Delete one track
<Pen> + <c> = Delete all in track
Please be aware that whilst you are playing your music, any operation from your
mobile phone may cause the music to stop.
