Chromalox WC is a low-liquid cutoff designed to protect immersion heaters from low-liquid level burnout in most types of solutions up to 240°F. It features a thermal cutout mechanism for temperature sensing, a SPST, snap-acting switch with a contact rating of 25 Amps at 277 Volt maximum, and a pilot lamp (E1 Models only) that glows when the heater is energized. The WC can generally be used at pressures up to 300 psi and can be mounted horizontally at the minimum permissible liquid level, no less than 4” above the heater.
