IMPORTANTE
Centrifugar cuidadosamente la ropa antes del secado.
El tiempo de secado y el consiguiente consumo de energía dependen de:
- tipo de ropa;
- cantidad de ropa;
- velocidad de centrifugado de la lavadora;

- du type de linge;
- de la quantité de linge;
- de la vitesse d’essorage de votre lave-linge;

vertragen.

This appliance is designed and built with the utmost care for environmental safety.
To ensure the same care at the time of demolition, we recommend contacting the
local authorities charged with collection and disposal. Never abandon the dryer
in the environment.
Don’t throw the packaging from your appliance in the rubbish but separate the various
materials (eg. polystyrene, plastic bags) according to local regulations on waste dis-
posal and current law.
This dryer does not require special installation. To ensure optimum operation, follow
the installation and connection instructions below.
Install the dryer perfectly horizontal using a spirit level if necessary. Use the four ad-
justable feet to compensate any unevenness in the floor.
Make sure that the area where the machine is installed is well ventilated and check
that the air inlets and outlets in the bottom part of the front panel are not blocked.
Do not install the dryer on delicate fitted carpeting as the machine emits hot air that
may reach up to 60° C.
When the appliance is working, make sure the
temperature in the room is not over 35° C; if it is,
open a door or window, which will reduce drying
times and help save energy.
There must be no dust or lint in the room where
the dryer is installed.
Don’t touch the back panel while the appliance is
working, as it normally gets very hot.
COLUMN INSTALLATION
If you are short of room, the dryer can easily be
stacked on top of a front-loading washing machine.
This requires a stacking kit, which we can supply on
request. Don’t forget to adjust the feet during instal-
lation.

REVERSING THE DOOR
If you need to reverse the door, follow these in-
structions:
1. On the front panel, unscrew the 4 screws (1)
supporting the hinges (2) of the door (3).
2. Invert the position of the micro-switch (5) from
(a) to (b).
3. Invert the position of the plugs covering the
door mounting.
4. Mount the door using the holes left open.
REMOVAL OF CONDENSATION WATER
The condensation water produced during the drying cycle automatically drains into a
container inside the appliance.
This container must be emptied after each drying cycle.
TIPS
For better dryer working do not install it in a room where the temperature is less
than +10° C.
Before the first drying clean inside the drum with a damp cloth to remove any film
of dust which might have been deposited during transport.
CAUTION
There must be no dust or lint around the dryer because this could be drawn inside
the machine.
Make sure that the room temperature with the dryer working does not exceed 35° C.
If this happens open a window or a door: this reduces drying times and helps to
save energy.
When the dryer is working do not touch the rear panel because this can become
hot.

Before plugging the dryer into a power outlet make sure that:
1. the value of your mains voltage is the same as the value indicated on the rating plate
on the front of the machine;
2. the counter, limiter valve, supply line and power outlet are all to standard and suit-
ably sized to resist the maximum load required; the power and input current values
are given on the rating plate;
3. the power outlet and plug are compatible without using reductions, multiple sockets,
adapters or extensions;
4. it is a legal requirement that the appliance be connected to an earth system.
If the power line is damaged, it must be replaced with a special cable or kit avail-
able from the manufacturer or customer service.
THE MANUFACTURER DECLINES ALL RESPONSIBILITY FOR DAMAGE
CAUSED TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY THROUGH NON OBSERVANCE OF
THESE BASIC SAFETY REGULATIONS.
Select laundry by size, type of fabric and degree of drying required. Don’t mix large
and small items, even if of the same fabric.A handkerchief obviously dries more quick-
ly than a bath towel.
Your dryer has a 112 litre drum with a drying capacity of:
6 kg. of resistant fabrics (cotton, linen)
3 kg. of delicate fabrics (synthetic fabrics)
The table below gives the weights of certain items of laundry.
Laundry type Approximate Laundry type Approximate

Bath robe 1250 Napkin 120
Towel 220 Lady’s blouse 120

Before running the first drying cycle we recommend cleaning the inside of the drum
with a damp cloth. On the labels on articles of laundry you will find the following sym-
bols, which mean:
Normal Delicate Do not
drying
drying tumble dry
Do not put the following in the dryer:
pure-wool items (they will felt);
very delicate items such as curtains, tights;
rubber or plasticized items;
very wet items (dripping wet).
IMPORTANT
Remember that the dryer must only be used to dry laundry washed with water.
Don’t load items that have been cleaned with inflammable products.
If your washing machine spins at under 700 rpm, we recommend splitting the
load in two and drying each half with a complete cycle.
Don’t let any metallic objects (nails, coins, clips, etc.) be put in the drum, as they may
damage it.
If you’ve followed these instructions, you can now load your spun laundry into the
drum.
Close all zips, tie up any lacing etc.
Put small items into a cloth bag or similar container (eg. a pillow case).
Close the hatch.
Make sure that no item of laundry is caught in the hatch.
If the hatch isn’t closed properly the appliance won’t work.
Only put spun laundry in the dryer.The faster your washing machine’s spin-dry is, the
shorter the drying time will be. Wringing is not enough. Clothes which are too damp
may damage the appliance. The faster the spin (800 rpm or more), the better the re-
sults will be. Spin-drying at 500 rpm will considerably lengthen drying time.
Delicate items should also be spun. Avoid adding damp items when the drying pro-
gramme has already started. Use the maximum load right from the start, as this will
save time and energy. Clean the filter after each drying cycle and the condenser reg-
ularly once a month.
