Zoch Vaca Loca

Zoch Vaca Loca is a fast-paced matching game for 3 to 6 players aged 6 and up. The goal of the game is to be the first player to collect all three body parts (head, body, and legs) of an alien creature. The game is won by the player with the most completed creatures.

The game is simple to learn and play. Players take turns flipping over picture tiles from a central pile. If a player flips over a tile that matches one of the body parts of an alien creature, they can claim that creature and add it to their collection. However, if a player flips over a tile that does not match any of the body parts of an alien creature, they must take a penalty chip. The first player to collect all three body parts of an alien creature wins the game.

A game by Iris Rossbach
for 3 to 6 quick hands, 6
years and up
60 picture tiles 12 planet chips
MATERIALS
Mayday! After a night of heavy partying, the VACA LOCA has crash-landed in a
remote corner of the Milky Way, on the blue planet Earth. The travelers aboard the “Vaca
Loca” have once again overdone it while “space leaping”. As a result, everyone‘s legs
have arrived ahead of their respective heads. Before their bodies could be on their way
as well to materialize again properly, the other body parts of our space aliens are
already wildly tumbling over each other. Only a swift slap to the head of each creature
can set things straight and bring the right body parts back together again. Can you
lend a hand?
Mix all 60 picture tiles and spread them out on the table, face down at random. Put the
planet chips at hand as a supply.
Take off all rings, watches, and bracelets, in order that nobody gets hurt.
All the other players observe what creature the revealed part belongs to.
Whoever thinks that all three body parts (head, body, and legs) of an creature have been
revealed now slaps one hand on this creature‘s head tile as quickly as possible.
Play proceeds in clockwise order. On your turn, you quickly flip over one picture tile in such a
way that all the other players can see the tile at the same time. That‘s all you do. This ends
your turn.
PLAYING OF THE GAME
SET UP
Twenty creatures are hiding under 60 face down picture tiles. Every creature‘s head, body,
and legs are lying in three different places. Players reveal the picture tiles, one after another.
As soon as all three parts of the body of an creature can be seen, you have to be quick! The
first player to slap their hand on the head tile of this creature gets it. Whoever is able to lay
down the most creatures in front of them wins the game.
AIM OF THE GAME
The fastest player takes all three tiles of this creature and lays them down in front of
them in the right order.
If somebody slaps on a head tile although not all three parts of this creature are visible
yet, they take a planet chip. All tiles remain on the table as is.
If somebody slaps on the leg or body tile of an creature, they also take a planet chip.
The game ends when only 9 picture tiles are left on the table. The remaining three
creatures stay there.
Now each player individually adds up the creatures they have lying face up in front of them.
For each creature they get 3 points. For each planet chip they deduct one point from their
total. The player with the most points in the end wins. In case of a tie, the tied player who
has collected fewer planet chips wins. There can be more than one winner.

If nobody slaps on a tile because not all three parts of this creature are visible yet, nothing
happens. Then it‘s the next player‘s turn to flip over another picture tile.
Important! All tiles revealed remain in place face up until they are taken.
If there are no planet chips left in the supply, the player in question takes a chip from any
other player.
table et ne peuvent plus être gagnés.
Chaque joueur compte alors les animaux complets devant lui. Chaque animal rapporte 3
points.

I tre animali

giocatore.
