This kit is intended for use with the Truckster XD.

CAUTION
Before you install this kit, read the vehicle’s manual
to become familiar with the vehicle, the controls,
and proper use of the equipment.
Stay alert for potential hazards and follow all safety
precautions
. Read all instructions completely and
make sure you understand them before proceeding
with the assembly.
1. Park the vehicle on a flat and level surface, disengage all
drives, engage the parking brake, turn the ignition switch
to the OFF position, and remove the key.
a. Wait for all movement to stop before making any
adjustments or modifications.
b. Allow sufficient time for the vehicle to cool down.
c. Take this opportunity to thoroughly inspect the
equipment and perform other required maintenance.

WARNING
Before you attempt to clean, adjust, or repair any of
this equipment, disengage all drives, stop the
engine, and allow the unit to cool. Remove the key
from the ignition switch and disconnect the negative
battery cable to prevent accidental starting and
potential bodily injuries.
2. Refer to the parts manual for the Truckster XD as an aid
to
install the Hitch Accessory.
Assembly________________________________________________________________________
1. Fully extend the bed cylinder, stop the engine and
remove the key. Install the cylinder support to prevent
accidental lowering of the bed.

2. Assemble the hitch (Item 1) to the rear axle (A) using
two 5/16-18 x 3/4” hex flange screws (Item 2), four u-
bolts (Item 3), eight spacers (Item 4) and nyloc nuts
(Item 5).
3. Clean the surface of the hitch and apply the hitch
capacity decal to the hitch.
4. The trailer brake accessory 4336850 is required to pull a
trailer with a weight greater than 2200 lb. (1000 kg).
5. Do not pull a trailer with a weight greater than 3550 lb.
(1610 kg).
6. Do not pull a trailer with a tongue weight greater than
600 lb. (270 kg).
