BrandMotion 9002-3001 is an ultrasonic rear park aid system designed to assist drivers in backing their vehicles toward other vehicles or obstacles. It is not a safety system and normal visual vigilance while backing is still recommended. The system includes a truck-extended-length wiring harness that supports the connection of four rear sensors to the ECU using just one harness instead of four separate harnesses. The Brandmotion Rear Park Aid (RPA) is designed to be a convenience aid to assist in

backing your vehicle towards other vehicles and obstacles. It is not a safety system.

Normal visual vigilance while backing is still recommended.

Safety Precautions:

• Work in well ventilated area that is clear of obstructions.

• Secure vehicle with tire chucks in both front and rear of tires.

• Turn vehicle accessories OFF and ensure ignition key is in OFF position.

• Wear safety goggles and snug fitting clothes.

• Use tools only for their intended purpose and which are in good repair.

• Only perform this task if confidence, skill, and physical ability permit.

NOTE: We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date installation instructions.

1. Use this 1 harness for the 4 rear sensors instead of 4 sensors harness that

came with the

9002-3000

. Install the metal the plugs with threaded end

locks into the sensors, the white plastic connectors plug into the ECU.
