The Competition falls apart
in your hands – Literally
This is a knock-off of the Bendix
®
MV-3
®
dash
control valve. The knock-off broke apart in the
hands of the driver as they attempted to apply
the vehicle parking brakes.
Appearances are deceiving. When you look
at the valve and plunger, from the outside
everything “looks OK.”
But take a closer look and you’ll see signifi cant
voids, or holes, caused by serious errors in the
manufacturing process. This defect led to the
valve’s failure, parking the truck for good.
How do you know you’ve got the real thing?
Always look for the Bendix logo on the products
you buy. Your air brake system is not the place
to cut corners. Inferior design or materials can,
and frequently do, affect the performance,
durability and long-term reliability of your
braking system.
