Product Name
PART# - RS13050-06
APPLICATION(S): Sea-Doo RXP/RXT/GTX Supercharged (GTX-SC)
*** NOTE: Allow craft’s engine to cool thoroughly before performing installation. ***
- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -
1. Remove D.E.S.S. lanyard and disconnect battery cables.
2. Unclip engine coolant overflow tank, remove from engine compartment cowling and place upright in engine
compartment. Take care not to tip overflow tank allowing coolant to drain.
3. RXP: Remove engine compartment cowling by first removing the two forward-most M10 socket head cap bolts and
rear-most M10 socket head cap bolt completely. Loosen the two remaining M10 socket head cap bolts on lower
inside rear edge of engine compartment cowling. (see illustration #1)
RXT/GTX-SC: Completely loosen the four M8 bolts holding engine compartment cross section in place. (see
illustration #2) Remove both top and bottom halves of engine compartment cross-section supports. Leave air intake
duct attached to bottom half.
4. Inside front storage compartment, locate and disconnect regulator/rectifier connector and instrument panel
connectors. (see illustration #3) For pre `07 model RXT/GTX-SC you will need to remove the thru-hull inspection
cover by carefully removing the eleven snap fasteners. (see illustration #4).
5. Disconnect engine ventilation hose from OE air intake system. (see illustration #5)
6. Remove OE intake ducting from supercharger inlet forward and discard. (see illustration #6) Retain hose clamps for
use when installing RIVA Power Filter Kit.
7. Remove regulator/rectifier from OE air intake inlet and install onto supplied aluminum bracket using supplied
hardware. (see illustration #7)
8. At the PTO, loosen hose clamp securing drive shaft boot (bellow) to thru-hull fitting, rotate 90-degrees and tighten.
(see illustration #8) NOTE: Do not over tighten clamp.
9. RXP: Install regulator/rectifier bracket at battery tray location between battery bracket and hull mount. (see
illustration #9) Plug into OE wiring harness.
`07 RXT & GTX-SC: Install regulator/rectifier bracket at battery tray location between fuel tank and engine. Pull
wiring for connectors out of split lume back to regulator/rectifier mounting location. Wrap wiring with supplied split
lume and secure with electrical tape at both ends. (see illustration #10) Plug into OE wiring harness.
` 05~06 RXT/`03~06 GTX-SC: Install regulator/rectifier bracket onto backside of front storage compartment/thru-hull
inspection cover with supplied M8 bolt, washers and nut. (see illustration #11).
NOTE: Bolt hole location is critical.
Refer to illustration #11 for placement of regulator/rectifier. Connect regulator/rectifier to OE wiring harness and
carefully replace front storage compartment/thru-hull inspection cover.
10. Install supplied blue silicone coupler onto end of Power Filter Tube with RIVA Racing logo. Place two OE hose
clamps over coupler, leaving loose. TIP: Use glass cleaner to ease installation of coupler!
11. All RXP’s & Pre `07 RXT/GTX-SC: From rear of engine compartment, insert straight end of Power Filter Tube into
engine compartment and route along right side of engine. (see illustration #’s 12 & 13)
`07 RXT & GTX-SC: Remove four bolts securing throttle body to intake manifold. Lift throttle body up and rest on top
edge of intake manifold. (see illustration #14) From rear of engine compartment, insert straight end of Power Filter
Tube into engine compartment and route along right side of engine. When you encounter resistance tap end of tube
past point of resistance so that it drops into engine compartment.
12. Align coupler end of Power Filter Tube with supercharger air inlet and slide silicone coupler onto supercharger
completely. Secure the coupler to supercharger only with OE hose clamp. (see illustration #15)

13. Loosely install supplied bracket onto front of engine. (see illustration #16) NOTE: Use BLUE Loc-Tite. Do not over
tighten bolts. NOTE: For `03~05 models you will need special star sockets for this step. These can be purchased
through RIVA Racing’s parts department. Order part# RS09531.
14. Install air inlet end of Power Filter Tube onto bracket and secure using supplied hardware. (see illustration #17)
NOTE: Use BLUE Loc-Tite. Do not over tighten bolts. Tighten bolts securing bracket to engine.
15. Attach OE engine ventilation hose to fitting at inlet end of Power Filter Tube. (see illustration #17) For `06 & Newer
Model RXP’s it will be necessary to remove 6” from end of OE hose and add the supplied formed extension hose in
order to reach Power Filter Tube. (see illustration #18)
16. At supercharger, ensure Power Filter Tube is inserted completely into silicone coupler and tighten remaining hose
clamp. (see illustration #19) NOTE: Do not over tighten hose clamp.
17. Install supplied pre-filter onto supplied Power Filter element. Install Power Filter onto Power Filter Tube inlet and
secure. (see illustration #20) TIP: For RXP models it is easier to pass Power Filter through hull from front of craft
and under steering. NOTE: Do not over tighten hose clamp.
18. RXP: Replace engine compartment cowling in reverse order of Step ‘2’. NOTE: Use BLUE Loc-Tite. Do not over
tighten bolts.
RXT/GTX-SC: Replace cross-section support [with air intake duct] in reverse order of Steps 2. NOTE: Use BLUE
Loc-Tite. NOTE: Do not over tighten bolts.
19. Install engine coolant overflow tank. Take care not to tip overflow tank allowing coolant to drain.
20. Thoroughly inspect engine compartment and bilge for tools, rags, parts, etc. Reconnect instrument panel connectors
and battery cables. Run craft out of water briefly using flush kit to check for leaks. Check hose clamps for snugness
after running.
NOTE: Sea•Doo and RIVA both strongly recommend the use of premium octane (91+) unleaded fuel.
Remember, the water belongs to everyone. Please ride responsibly!
