The Wireless –N USB 2.0 adapter allows you to connect your desktop
or laptop to a local network, wirelessly. It complies with EEE802.11n /
IEEE802.11g / IEEE802.11b standards, allowing you to get access to a
wireless local network through an access point or router, with your desktop
or laptop.

Dual operation mode: Infrastructure and Ad-Hoc.
MIMO technology for data transfers up to 300Mbps.
CCA technology, with automatic selection that avoids conicts.

An 802.11b/g/n access point (for Infrastructure Mode) or another 802.11b/g/n
wireless adapter (for Ad-Hoc; Peer-to-Peer networking mode.).

Turn on the computer and insert the included CD in the CD-ROM drive. The
install screen will appear. If not, click the Start button and choose Run and
enter D:\autorun.exe (if ‘D’ is your CD-ROM drive)
Select “Drivers,” choose your product
model, click “Install” and follow the
software instructions.
The following is the step-by-step
instructions in Windows XP. The
steps and screens are similar for the
other Windows operating systems.
Select language and then click
Next.

After installation is complete, you may be asked to restart your
computer. If you are asked to
restart you may do so immediately,
or you may choose to do so later,
after closing and saving work in
other programs. If asked to restart
your computer it is very
recommended that you do not
insert your USB adapter in a USB
slot on your computer for the rst
time until after restarting.

Plug the Wireless-N USB Adapter into an available USB port on your
computer, and the Found New Hardware Wizard (windows XP) screen will
appear:
Click Finish to nish the hardware
installation.
Select Install the software automatically
(Recommended) and then click Next.

6. Connecting to a wireless network
Your newly installed software, the Netis Wireless LAN Utility, will help you
to establish and manage wireless connections. You can double-click the
icon on your desktop to run it. Another way to start the utility is to click
Start>Programs> NETIS 11n USB Wireless LAN Utility> NETIS 11n USB
Wireless LAN Utility.
If you are using Windows XP, you can use either the Windows Zero
Conguration Utility or the Netis software, but Netis Wireless LAN Utility is
recommended.
- Double click the icon on the desk-top.
You can use the following methods to connect to a wireless network.
Method 1:
-Click on the Available Network tab and available wireless networks will be
displayed. You can then double click on the network that you wish to connect to.

If the network you are connecting to is encrypted, you will need to enter and
conrm the network key/password, then click OK.
Method 2: WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup)
You can use method 2 only if your router also has WPS functionality.
A: Button
Push and hold WPS button on back of Router until WPS LED ashes (or
as indicated according to manufacturer).
Push WPS button on wireless network adapter and hold for about 3-5
seconds.
A safe connection will be established automatically in a moment.
The reverse pushing and holding WPS button on adapter briey, then
pushing and holding WPS button on router briey – may also be utilized.

Select the Wi-Fi Protected Setup tab in the utility.
Choose to enter the WPS PIN of the router by ticking the Input PIN from
AP box, provide router WPS PIN, and click on PIN Input Cong. This PIN is
often printed on a label on the router. If it is not found on the router, or has
possibly been changed, you may need to access your router interface to nd
this PIN.
Alternatively, you may choose to utilize a WPS PIN provided by this
wireless adapter, click on PIN Input Cong, and enter PIN in your router’s
interface.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the
date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice, product
box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is
required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free
of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the
claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to
customer, as well as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned
later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling,
leaky batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by
unauthorized personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase
establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice
or purchase ticket.
