MasterCool 43013 is a vacuum-type cooling system filler kit with a gauge that helps shorten the time needed to refill new coolant by creating a vacuum in the cooling system. The vacuum created sucks coolant into the radiator. It also eliminates the need to bleed air from the cooling system, thereby reducing the risk of engine overheating.

With this kit, you do not have to worry about changing the coolant when it is hot. Simply drain the old coolant from the radiator, hook the gauge underneath the car’s hood, connect an air line to the air connector, and connect the proper adapter or use the provided Universal Radiator Adapter onto the radiator filler neck.

• Never change coolant when it is hot
Wear goggles and gloves during operation
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
CREATE A VACUUM
1. Drain coolant from the radiator.
2. Hook the gauge underneath the car’s hood.
3. Connect an air line to Air Connector (D).
4. Connect the proper adapter or use the Universal
Radiator Adapter (I) provided onto the radiator filler
neck (as in Figure 1).

6. When the pressure falls into the range between -50 and -60 cmHg (-20 and -25 inHg), close the Air Valve (C) and
toggle the Air Switch (E) to the OFF position.
7. Leave the gauge on the radiator for approximately 10 minutes to check if there are leaks in the cooling system before
refilling new coolant.
REFILL NEW COOLANT
8. Connect the Coolant Hose to the Coolant
Hose Connector (H).
9. Put the other end of the hose into a container
filled with pre-mixed new coolant.
10. Open the Coolant Valve (F) (while the Air
Valve (C) is closed and the Air Switch (E)
remains OFF), coolant will flow into the
radiator immediately (as in Figure 3).
11. The refilling process is completed when the
gauge reads zero.
12. Before putting the gauge back to the case,
remove the residual coolant in the gauge.
