First-time
assembling
For transport purposes, the
snow dozer is delivered with a
notched lever (22) which is
swung to the rear, thus the
following assembly is required:
l
Remove bolt (23), (24) and
(25).
l
Swing the notched lever (22)
towards the front.
l
Insert bolt (23) with washer
(24) through the stretched hole
on the notched lever and the
hole in the stop bolt.
l
Assemble the washer (24)
and the nut (25), but don't tighten
them.
l
Feed the free the end of the
cord (21) through the hole on the
notched lever (22) knot the end
of the cord.
Technical safety recommendations
W
Before assembling or removing the snow dozer, or when undertaking
maintenace or servicing, stop the machine's engine!
Wear heavy duty shoes!
Be careful of crushing or churning up the ground when turning the snow dozer!
Take care to match the speed to the specific working conditions encountered: if
the machine hits an obstruction, the shock of impact may injure the driver.

agria machince
è Basic machine
Use the prop (2) for assembling and
removing:
Lower the prop and insert the linch pin
(3) into the hole below the intermediate
support.
For snow clearing, raise the prop and
block it with the linch pin (3) above the
intermediate support.
On the garden tractor insert the
resiliant spike (16) in the plough handle
and press the support end of the remote
control cord with the handle (15) in the
resiliant spike.
l
On the tool rail, put the end with the
handle towards the rear within reach of
the hands on the plough handle.
Maintenance and
servicing
l
Grease all the moving parts,
especially:
- The stop bolt.
- The joints on the notched levers.
- The oscillating sliding surface (6).
To do this, loosen the 3 bolts and tighten
them again after greasing, but not too
tightly; be sure the snow dozer can
oscillate easily.
l
Tighten the nuts and bolts after a short
period in use, except for the oscillating
clip (7) and the mounting between the
notched lever (23/25) and the stop bolt.
Servicing
l
Carry out a thorough cleaning.
l
Add a coat of varnish.
l
Grease all the moving parts.
l
Spray all the exposed parts with a
biodegradeable rust proofing agent.
Snow clearing
The snow dozer has 3 pivoting posi-
tions:
- central position
- leaning to the left
- leaning to the right
ll
ll
l
By pulling on the
cord handle (15)
and by quick,
abrupt braking
movements, pivot
the snow ploug
into the desired
position.
By leaning the snow dozer slightly, the
snow can be evacuated to the side.
ll
ll
l
Make sure the stop bolt is properly
fitted into the correct hole after pivoting
and after having released the handle.
After pivoting, push the handle back onto
the resiliant spike (on garden tractors
only).
Rollers
Adjust the rollers (1) so that
the blade only just touches the
ground. The snow dozer must
slide on the rollers.
When the blade starts to become worn
down, adjust the rollers. Always check
that it is properly set before starting snow
clearing.
Plastic blade
lA plastic blade (K) may be added
below the steel blade (S). Pierce the plastic
blade (ref. agria
3496 921
) at the top beside
and flush with the steel blade .
Ballast
The bearing weight of the snow
dozer can be increased by putting front
ballast on the ballast bar (4).
Snow chains
To improve the grip of the driving wheels,
it is recommended to put on snow chains.
