Splawn Amplification Competition, pro stock Owner's manual

  • Hello! I've reviewed the Splawn amplifier owner's manual, focusing on models like Competition Pro Stock, Quick Rod, Pro Mod, and other models. I'm prepared to help with questions about its operation, features such as the effects loop, speaker impedance options, and footswitch functionalities.
  • What is the purpose of the Standby Switch?
What is the function of the Mode Switch?
What are the available impedance options for the speaker output?
What does the Loop Master control?
How many buttons does the footswitch have for the Competition and Pro Stock amps?
Owners Manual
COMPETITION & PRO STOCK
Thank you for purchasing your new Splawn amplifier. We have put together a little information that will help you
understand the amp and all of its functions. All of our amps are built in our shop in Dallas NC right here in the USA. We
build all of our speaker cabs, head boxes, amp chassis’s and footswitches in house. Some parts of the amplifier are out
sourced such as the circuit boards and transformers. The transformers are custom wound and are also made in the USA.
We hope that this amplifier will give you years of tonal pleasure.

New Quick Rods since 2013 are shipped with a 4 button footswitch which includes the mode switch, which allows you to switch
between two gears.
If the front panel switch is set to 1st gear you can switch between 1st and 2nd gear, if the front panel switch is set to 3rd gear you can
switch between 3rd and 2nd gear. You can not switch between 1st and 3rd as the footswitch only defaults to 2nd gear.
This 4 button switch will also work on all Streetrod amps and older Quick Rods & Pro Mods after serial number 460.
These are available for purchase from our online store.
ining
are the number of amps produced at that time.
For instance if your serial number is QR109996 this would be a Quick Rod 100 watt built in 2009 and was the 996 amp built.
*WARNING*
Please check that the proper fuse is being used for your voltage, especially if traveling internationally! Please check the
"on" position, wait for a moment for the tubes to warm up, then turn on the Standby switch. The amp is now ready for
explosive guitar sounds!
