How to install and use your
REA-TD electric thermal radiator
First of all, we would like to thank you for having bought an EV product; we hope that
will give you years of reliable heating.
Before installing the heater, please read the following instructions carefully. EV is not
responsible for any damage or problems resulting from incorrect installation. Once
your heater is up and running, please store this booklet in a safe place for future refe-
rence.
Recycling
When you no longer need this heater, please follow the European Directive 2002/96/
CE as regards its disposal. This heater can not be put out as normal rubbish. It must
either be taken to a special tip or to a distributor offering to dispose for you. Recy-
cling electrical appliances separately allows component parts to be re-used and limits
the damage to the environment that would otherwise occur. Recycling saves power
and resources. To encourage this, the heater bears a symbol showing it can not be put
into a normal bin. For further information, get in touch with your local council or the
shop where you purchased this product.

How to Use Your Heater
Your recently purchased radiator is largely maintenance-free. To clean it, simply
wipe with a clean, damp cloth. Avoid using any chemical cleaners as they may disco-
lour your radiator and its fi nish.
Do not use the radiator to dry clothes on or as a shelf. Either scenario may prevent
the heater from functioning correctly and lead the heater to overheat and shut itself
off.
Any repair should only be carried out by a professional and with the heater discon-
nected.
This heater is not supposed to be used by people (including children) whose phy-
sical, sensory or mental capabilities are small, or who don’t have any experience or

control, the IC-04 IR, you can:
· Set your radiator for a couple of hours, a day or a week.
· It will store four different programmes.
· It will allow you to change the output temperature from a distance.

you read the following carefully as EV will not be liable for any damage or problems
arising from incorrect installation.
Unwrap your heater and clear the packaging away. The packaging has been specifi -

For safety reasons, this heater should never be installed in close proximity to a bath

The radiator should not be placed below a socket.
If the cable has been damaged, it can only be replaced by EV, through its Aftersales

When the radiator is being decommissioned, the legislation on the disposal of the
