IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always

be followed, including the following:

1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.

2. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not place cord, plugs, or

appliance in water or other liquid.

3. Children should not operate this appliance and close supervision is

necessary when used near children.

4. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking o

parts, and before cleaning.

5. Avoid contact with moving parts.

6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, aer the

appliance malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any way. Return

to the nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or

electrical / mechanical adjustment.

7. The use of unauthorized attachments, including ice box or ice cone

holder not recommended or sold by the manufacturer may cause fire,

electric shock or injury.

8. Do not use outdoors.

9. Do not hang cord over the edge of table or counter.

10. Keep cord away from hot surfaces, such as a stove.

11. Do not use if blades are broken, cracked or loose.

12. Do not leave appliance unattended while operating.

13. Always check ice cup for foreign objects before using.

14. This snow cone maker is turned ON or OFF by pressing or releasing the

button located on top of the unit.

15. This snow cone maker has an AUTO OFF feature, which will stop the

unit automatically once the ice cup empties.

16. The unit will not work unless the ice cup is filled with ice.

17. Blade is sharp. Use extreme caution during assembly, while operating,

disassembly and cleaning.

18. Keep hands and utensils out of the ice cup while operating to reduce

the risk of injury or damage to unit.

19. Never place finger or other utensils into feed or discharge areas.

20. Do not run the appliance continuously for more than three minutes as

overheating may occur. Allow motor to cool before each use.

21. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated

oven.

22. Do not use this appliance for anything other than its intended use.

23. To disconnect, release pressure on the switch, then remove plug from

wall outlet.

24. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the oth-

er). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized

outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse

the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not

modify the plug in any way.

USING YOUR SNOW CONE MAKER

GETTING STARTED

• Unpack the Blizzy Snow Cone Maker and place it on a flat countertop.

• Handle the shaving blade with caution. DO NOT touch the blade.

• Wash the ice shaver cup carefully. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

• If using paper cones, be sure that the cone holder (7) is locked into

place by sliding it down into the two keyhole slots on the base.

• Remove the cone holder by liing gently upwards from the base if you

would like to use a large bowl.

USING THE SNOW CONE MAKER

1. Place the base on a flat, level surface.

2. Insert the ice cup so the arrows align on the cup and the ring, facing

forward.

3. Fill the ice cup with ice cubes. Do not fill past the MAX line. If the ice

cup is overfilled the unit will not function.

4. Place a cone into the cone holder, or remove the cone holder and

place bowl below the ice bucket.

5. The motor may be aligned in any direction in the ice cup. Make sure

the motor grooves are aligned with the ice bucket grooves.

6. Plug in the unit and press firmly downward with both hands on the

power button.

7. To stop, release power button. The motor will automatically switch o

when ice cup is empty.

8. Add your favorite syrup to the snow cone and enjoy!

9. Unplug the unit immediately aer use. Remove ice cup and clean

before storing.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE

• Always unplug the ice shaver before cleaning.

• It is recommended to rinse parts immediately aer use.

• CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Never touch the

blades with your fingers.

• The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thor-

oughly. WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE MOTOR IN WATER.

STORAGE

• Unplug and clean unit.

• Store in a clean, dry place.

• Never store snow cone maker while still hot or plugged in.

• Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance or put stress on the

cord, especially where the cord enters the unit, as this could cause the

cord to fray and/or break.

Courant™ warrants this product against defects in materi-

al and workmanship to the original purchaser as specified

below. Please be sure that the product is registered online

within fourteen (14) days of purchase.

PARTS – if the product is determined to have a

manufacturing defect, within a period of one

(1) year from the date of the original purchase,

Courant™ will repair or replace the product

parts at no charge (for parts) to consumers in

the U.S.A. and Canada.

LABOR – if the product is determined to have

a manufacturing defect, within a period of

ninety (90) Days from the date of the original

purchase, Courant™ will repair or replace the

product at no charge to consumers in the U.S.A.

and Canada. Aer ninety (90) days, it will be the

responsibility of the consumer.

Shipping costs to and from our warranty service center are

the sole responsibility of the consumer.

To obtain warranty service by an authorized Courant™

service center, please email us at: service@courantusa.

com to obtain a Repair and Maintenance Authorization

(RMA) number and to locate the Warranty Service Center

nearest you. Once authorized, you must mail the product

to the authorized Courant™ service center in its original

product packaging materials or equivalent, to prevent

damage while in transit.

Further, should Courant™ determine that the product is

outside of the Warranty terms, Courant™ will return the

product to sender at sender’s expense without being re-

paired or replaced, unless authorized by the consumer

to service the out-of-warranty product at consumer’s ex-

pense. All handling or restocking charges for returns and/

or replacements shall be non-refundable.

Courant™ specifically excludes from this warranty any

non-electric/mechanical attachments, accessories, and

disposable parts including, but not limited to, outside

case, connecting cables, batteries, and AC adapters.

Courant™ reserves the right to repair or replace defective

products with the same, equivalent, or newer models.

We reserve the right to either repair or replace product at

our discretion. Replacement may be either new or refur-

bished and while every endeavor will be made to ensure

it is the same model, if same model is not available, it will

be replaced with a model of equal or higher specification.

Normal “Wear and Tear” is not covered by this, or any oth-

er, warranty. Further, Courant™ hereby reserves the right

to determine “Wear and Tear” on any and all products.

Tampering or opening the product casing or shell will void

this warranty in its entirety.

In addition, this warranty does not apply if the product

has been damaged by accident, abuse, misuse, or mis-

application; has been altered or modified without the

written permission of Courant™; has been serviced by a

non-authorized repair center of Courant™; has not been

properly maintained or operated according to the opera-

tion manual; has been used for commercial, non-house-

hold purposes; has been cosmetically damaged; was not

imported by Courant™; was not manufactured according

to specification of the United States market; was damaged

due to improper installation or neglect by the consumer;

was damaged due to improper packaging in shipment to

the Warranty Service Center; was damaged due to natural

disasters; or if the serial number for the product has been

removed or defaced.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WAR-

RANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A

PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO

ONE (1) YEAR PARTS AND NINETY (90) DAYS LABOR FROM

THE DATE OF THE ORIGINAL RETAIL PURCHASE OF THIS

PRODUCT.

THESE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES ARE THE SOLE AND

EXCLUSIVE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES IN CONNECTION

WITH THE SALE AND USE OF THE PRODUCT. NO OTHER

UTILIZANDO SU NUEVA MÁQUINA DE CONOS DE NIEVE

INICIANDO

• Desempaque la Máquina de Conos de Hielo Blizzy y colóquela en una encimera

plana.

• Maneje la cuchilla con cuidado. NO toque la cuchilla.

• Lave el tazón de hielo con cuidado. Enjuague y seque.

• Si utiliza conos de papel, asegúrese que el soporte de los conos está fijo en su lugar.

• Si desea utilizar un recipiente más grande retire de la base el soporte de los conos al

levantar delicadamente hacia arriba

UTILIZANDO LA MÁQUINA DE CONOS DE NIEVE

1. Coloque la base en una superficie plana y nivelada.

2. Inserte el tazón de hielo de modo que las flechas se alineen con las del aro, viendo de

frente.

3. Llene el tazón de hielo con cubos de hielo. No llene más allá de la marca MAX. Si el

tazón de hielo es sobrellenado, la unidad no funcionará.

4. Coloque un cono en el soporte de conos o retire el soporte de los conos y coloque un

recipiente debajo de la cubeta de hielo.

5. El motor puede estar alineado en cualquier dirección en el tazón de hielo. Asegúrese

Courant™ garantiza al comprador original este produc-

to contra defectos en su material y mano de obra como

se especifica a continuación. Registre el producto en

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

Lorsque vous utilisez un appareil électrique, des précautions de base de-

vraient toujours être observées, y compris ce qui suit :

1. Lisez l’ensemble des instructions.

2. Pour vous protéger contre le risque d’une décharge électrique, ne submergez pas le

cordon d’alimentation, la fiche ou l’appareil dans de l’eau ou tout autre liquide.

3. L’appareil ne devrait pas être opéré par des enfants. Soyez prudents lorsqu’utilisé près

d’enfants.

4. Débranchez l’appareil, lorsque non utilisé, avant de détacher des pièces et avant le

nettoyage.

5. Éviter tout contact avec les pièces mobiles.

6. N’utilisez pas l’appareil si le cordon d’alimentation est endommagé. N’utilisez pas

l’appareil dans le cas d’un mauvais fonctionnement, s’il a été échappé ou endommagé.

Retournez l’appareil au centre de service autorisé le plus près pour une vérification, une

réparation ou un ajustement mécanique ou électrique.

7. L’utilisation de pièces non autorisées incluant le seau à glace ou porte-cornets qui ne

sont pas recommandés ou vendus par le fabricant pourrait causer un incendie, une

décharge électrique ou une blessure.

8. Ne pas utiliser à l’extérieur.

9. Ne laissez pas le cordon d’alimentation pendre sur le coin d’un comptoir ou d’une table.

10. Gardez le cordon d’alimentation loin des surfaces chaudes telles qu’un poêle.

11. Ne pas utiliser si les lames sont cassées, craquées ou mal fixées.

12. Ne pas laisser en opération sans supervision.

13. Vérifiez toujours le seau à glace pour des corps étrangers avant utilisation.

14. La machine à cornets glacés est activée ou mise hors tension en appuyant sur le bouton

situé sur le dessus de l’appareil.

15. La machine à cornets glacés est équipée d’un dispositif d’arrêt automatique qui mettra

l’appareil hors tension automatiquement lorsque le seau à glace sera vide.

16. L’appareil ne fonctionnera pas si le seau à glace n’est pas rempli de glace.

17. La lame est aiguisée. Usez de prudence lors de l’assemblage, en opération, lors du

démontage et du nettoyage.

18. Gardez les mains et les ustensiles hors du seau à glace lorsqu’en utilisation afin de

réduire le risque de blessure ou dommages à l’appareil.

19. Ne placez jamais de doigts ou d’ustensiles dans les zones d’évacuation ou d’alimenta-

tion.

20. Ne faites pas fonctionner l’appareil en continu pendant plus de trois minutes. Laisser

refroidir le moteur entre chaque utilisation.

21. Ne pas placer l’appareil sur ou près d’un brûleur à gaz ou électrique chaud ni d’un four.

22. Ne pas utiliser cet appareil pour autre chose que son utilisation prévue.

23. Pour déconnecter l’appareil, relâchez la pression sur l’interrupteur et puis retirez la fiche

de la prise murale.

24. L’appareil dispose d’une fiche polarisée (une lame est plus large que l’autre). Afin de

réduire le risque de décharge électrique, la fiche fonctionnera uniquement avec une

prise murale polarisée. Si la fiche ne s’insère pas dans la prise, inversez la fiche. Si cela

ne fonctionne toujours pas, contactez un électricien qualifié. Ne modifiez pas en aucun

cas la fiche.

UTILISATION DE VOTRE MACHINE À GLACE

PRÉPARATION

• Déballez la machine à glace Blizzy et placez-la sur une surface plane.

• Manipulez avec prudence les lames. NE TOUCHEZ PAS la lame.

• Lavez avec attention le seau à glace. Rincez et séchez complètement.

• Si vous utilisez des cornets en papier, assurez-vous que le porte-cornets

est bien sécurisé en place.

• Si vous désirez utiliser un grand bol, retirez le porte-cornet en le soule-

vant doucement de la base.

UTILISER LA MACHINE À GLACE

1. Placez la base sur une surface plane et à niveau.

2. Insérez le seau à glace afin que les flèches s’alignent sur la boite et l’an-

neau, face à l’avant.

3. Remplissez le seau à glace avec des glaçons. Ne dépassez pas la ligne

MAX. Si la boite est trop remplie, l’appareil ne fonctionnera pas.

4. Placez un cornet dans le porte-cornet ou retirez celui-ci et placez un bol

sous le seau à glace.

5. Le moteur peut être aligné dans n’importe quelle direction dans le seau

à glace. Assurez-vous que les rainures du moteur sont alignées avec les

rainures du seau à glace.

6. Branchez l’appareil et appuyez fermement à deux mains sur le bouton

alimentation.

7. Pour arrêter, relâchez le bouton alimentation. Le moteur s’éteindra auto-

matiquement lorsque le seau à glace sera vide.

8. Ajoutez votre sirop préféré à la glace et bonne dégustation!

9. Débranchez l’appareil immédiatement après utilisation. Retirez le seau à

glace et procédez au nettoyage avant le rangement.
