IMPORTANT: Read entire instruction sheet before
installing media kit.
This media kit contains 6 fiber log pieces.
If any of these pieces are missing or damaged, contact the dealer
where you purchased this kit or DESA at 1-866-672-6040 for
referral information.
These log pieces are used to give a more natural appearance to the
fireplace floor where the gas log set is installed. They will help to
hide from view the controls on the unit.
INSTALLING FIBER LOG PIECES
Place fiber log pieces randomly on fireplace floor in front of gas
log unit to hide controls.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: Make sure the unit is turned off and
cool before adding log pieces to fireplace floor.
WARNING: Do not add extra logs or ornaments
such as pine cones, vermiculite or rock wool. Using
these added items can cause sooting. Use only the
material included in this kit.
WARNING: Do not place fiber log pieces on logs
or burners. This may cause sooting. Place log pieces
only on the fireplace floor.
