The following procedure will make it easier to remove
your Power-Pak
®
445 dumbbell from its packaging.
The dumbbell is heavy. Ask for assistance if necessary.
• Openthetopapsoftheshippingboxandremovethe
upperbox.See1.
• Usingtheshippingstraps,carefullyliftthecartonoutof
theboxandplaceonoor.See2.
• Cuttheshippingstrapsandremovetheupperpartof
the carton. See 3.
• Locatethehandlesoneachendofthebase.See4.
• Usingthehandles,carefullyliftthedumbbelloutofthe
lowerpartofthecartonandplaceonoor.
• Youmaynowremovetheplasticbag.
When moving the dumbbell assembly, use the handles that
are molded into each end of the base.
Note: If the dumbbell assembly is to be used for retail
display,leavetheShippingZip-Tieintact.Otherwise,
remove the Shipping Zip-Tie before use.
If in a retail display setting, the cardboard cover has an
area that can be removed to assist with handle display.
