Electrical Requirements
CAUTION
This unit is designed for countertop use only.
Never block the air vent on the left side.
• This unit is designed to be in operation in an
area with a maximum ambient temperature
of 80°F, 26°C. Warmer ambient temperature
will result in reduced ice quality and product.
Never operate this unit in direct sunlight.
• Allow for a minimum clearance of 12 inches
on the left side, ½ inch on the right, 2 inches
on the back, and ½ on the top of clearance
on the left side, to ensure proper function of
the unit.
DANGER
It is required that you connect this unit only
to a GFCI protected receptacle. It is strongly
recommended that you do not use an adapter
to connect this unit because of safety hazards.

INSTALLATION
REQUIREMENTS
Clearance Requirements
WATER
We recommend using distilled, bottled OR
filtered water, as this will improve the
performance of the machine. Tap water with a
hardness of <100 PPM is also acceptable. The
machine will NOT produce ice and will
automatically go into clean mode if tap water
with a hardness > 100 PPM is used

NOTE
Do NOT add water until Water Level red LED
flashes. Do NOT overfill the reservoir,
otherwise it may overflow when ice melts
completely.

Insert funnel into the water port
Add distilled, bottled OR filtered water until the
Water Level LED button illuminates in green. You
will hear 5 beeps.
Remove the funnel to close port
2. Flushing the unit for the 1st time
Plug the unit into power.
Press and hold Clean button for 3 seconds to start
the Cleaning mode
Unplug the unit when the flushing process is complete
(it takes 30 minutes and the Cleaning LED goes off).
Pull the drain tubes with plugs/holders out of
the unit back and remove the plugs/holders to
release water.
Replace the plugs/holders and put the tubes with
plugs/holders back to the unit.
3. Making ice for the 1st time. IMPORTANT
We recommend using distilled, bottled OR
filtered water, as this will improve the
performance of the machine. Tap water with a
hardness of <100 PPM is also acceptable. The
machine will NOT produce ice if tap water with a
hardness > 100 PPM is used
Unplug the machine
Remove the reservoir door and fill the machine by
sight to the max fill line, located on the back of the
water reservoir.
Replace the cover and plug the unit into power.
Press Make Nuggets button once and wait for the

FIRST TIME USE
Dispense several cups of ice and discard
them.
1. Filling the water reservoir for the first time use
Remove the reservoir cover by simultaneously pulling from
the left and right side towards you
Add water to MAX WATER FILL and then replace cover.
Do not plug in until you have filled water to max fill line
