When taking brief vacuuming pauses, you can
use the parking aid on the back of the
appliance. Push the hook on the floor nozzle
in to the recess on the back of the appliance.

can also be carried using the two grips.
After work

Pull out the mains plug.
Pull briefly on the mains cable and then let go
(the cable rolls up automatically).

To store / transport the appliance, you can
use the storing aid on the underside of the
appliance. Stand the appliance up straight.
Push the hook on the floor nozzle in to the
recess on the underside of the appliance.

Open the lid and take it off by moving the
locking lever in the direction of the arrow.

Close and remove the dust bag by pulling on
the cover clip.

Insert he new dust bag in the holding fixture
up until the stop.

When closing the lid, ensure that both of the
locking keys on the lid fit properly into the
recesses on the underside of the appliance.
After closing the cover, this audibly clicks into
place when pushed in the direction of the
arrow.

After vacuuming fine dust particles (like for
example, plaster, cement etc.), clean the
motor filter and, if necessary, replace the
microfilter.

Starting up

a) Position the suction hose with the direction
arrow pointing upwards - lock in to the
suction opening.
b)When removing the suction hose, press
together both latches and pull out the hose.

The vacuum cleaner must be used exclusively in

directed or has been caused by an incorrect
operation of the vacuum cleaner.
Therefore, please ensure that the following

The vacuum cleaner may only be operated
using:
original paper filters
original spare parts, accessories or optional
accessories.
The vacuum cleaner is not suitable for:
vacuuming persons or animals
vacuuming:
– small creatures (e.g. flies, spiders, ...)
– substances which can have adverse affects
on one's health or sharp-edged, hot or
red-hot substances.
– damp or liquid substances.
– easily flammable or explosive materials and
gases.
Safety information
This vacuum cleaner complies with the
recognised regulations of technology and the
relevant safety directives. We hereby confirm the
conformity with the following European
guidelines: 89/336/EEC (changed by RL
91/263/EEC, 92/31/EEC and 93/68/EEC,
72/23/EEC (changed by RL 93/68/EEC).
Connect and start up the vacuum cleaner only
in accordance with the information stipulated
on the identification plate.
Never vacuum without the paper filter.
The appliance could get damaged!
Children may only use the vacuum cleaner
under supervision.
Do not vacuum with the nozzle and pipe near
to the head area.
There is a danger of injury!
Do not use the mains cable to carry or
transport the vacuum cleaner.
Fully extend the power cord if the appliance is
to be used continously for several hours.
Pull on the plug in order to remove the plug
from the mains, do not pull on the cable.
Do not pull the mains cable across any sharp
edges and do not crush it in any way.
Always pull out the mains plug prior to
carrying out any work on the vacuum cleaner.
Do not use a damaged vacuum cleaner. In the
event of any fault, pull out the mains plug.
Any repair work or the replacing of spare
parts may only be carried out by the customer
services department.
Protect the vacuum cleaner from external
weather conditions, dampness and heat
sources.
Switch off the vacuum cleaner if it stops
sucking.
A retired appliance should be made
unserviceable and then disposed of in a
proper fashion.
Information regarding disposal
Packaging
The packaging protects the vacuum cleaner
from becoming damaged during
transportation. It is made of environmentally
friendly materials and can therefore be
recycled. Dispose of any unwanted packaging
at the recycling point.
Second-hand appliances
Second-hand appliances still contain many
valuable materials. Therefore, give your
second-hand appliance to your dealer or to a
recycling centre to be recycled.
Ask your dealer or your local government about
the current methods of disposal and the location
of recycling centres in your area.

Please observe
Only connect the appliance to a power point
which has a fuse of at least 16 A!
If the fuse trips when the appliance is
switched on, it could be that another electric
apparatus with a greater input power is being
used on the same electricity circuit.
The tripping of the fuse is avoidable if you set
the vacuum cleaner to the lowest
performance level before you switch on and
then select a greater one after the vacuum
cleaner has been switched on.
