Quest Pinpointer Metal Detector User manual

  • I've reviewed the user manual for the XPointer pinpointer. This document describes how to operate this device, including battery insertion, power on/off, alert modes and how to change the sensitivity level. The device uses both sound and vibration to signal proximity to metal objects. I'm here to answer any questions you might have about its features or usage.
  • How to insert a battery?
How to turn the pinpointer on?

a sound. Two sounds and the

A metal object is signaled by
increasing sound and vibraon, the
nearer the pinpoint p and side
scan area get to it.
Switch between tone+vibraon/
tone/vibraon by pressing the lower
buon mulple mes.
Change the sensivity level by
holding the lower buon and
pressing the upper buon at
the same me. The sound indicates
the current sensivity level. 1 to
3 sounds = sensivity level 1 to 3,
permanent sound = level 4.
If the XPointer has not been used for
3 minutes or the baery runs low, an
alarm tone is played.
Keep the O-ring clean and greased.
