Before replacing the air filter unit
Attention
zTurn the main power o before replacing the air lter unit.
zMake sure that the projector is stable when attaching the air lter unit, and work in an environment that is safe,
even in the event of the air lter unit dropping.

1) Turn o the projector and disconnect the power plug from the wall outlet.
zWhen the power is to be turned o, be absolutely sure to follow the procedure described in
“Switching o the projector” in the operating instructions of the projector.
2) Remove the air lter cover. (Fig. 1)
zTurn the air lter cover xing screw (x 1) counterclockwise with a Phillips screwdriver until it
turns freely, and remove the air lter cover by placing a nger in the depressed section and
pull it out slowly in the direction of the arrow.
zWhen pulling out the air lter cover, make sure to place a hand on the air lter cover. Pulling it
out too rapidly may cause the air lter cover to fall.
3) Pull out the air lter unit. (Fig. 2)
zSlightly push the grip of the air lter unit inward in the direction of the arrow, remove from the
tabs on the projector body, and pull out the air lter unit.
zAfter pulling out the air lter unit, remove any foreign object and dust from the air lter unit
compartment and the projector’s air intake port.
