Subject: Compliance Statements in Transportation Vehicle Manual
Dear Sirs,
The device with the above listed product identification is marketed solely together with
transportation vehicles. Consequently, its functional description will be included in
the individual owner’s manual of the vehicle.
The customer (OEM) of the transportion vehicle is requested to place following
compliance statements into the vehicle owners manual:
The title “CAUTION TO USERS” or “FCC WARNING”: “NOTE” or relevant title
and “Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible
for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.”
“This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules and with Industry Canada’s
licence-exempt RSSs. Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This
device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) This device must accept any
interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.”
“Cet appareil est conforme aux CNR d’Industrie Canada a applicables aux
appareils radio exempts de licence. L’exploitation est autorisée à condition que
l'appareil ne produise pas de brouillage préjudiciable et qu'il accepte tout
brouillage, même celui susceptible d'en compromettre le fonctionnement.”
