Omron BCM-500 is a body composition monitor and scale with Bluetooth® connectivity that provides accurate measurements of body weight, body fat, visceral fat, skeletal muscle, resting metabolism, and BMI. It allows users to track their progress over time and monitor their overall health and fitness. With the OMRON HeartAdvisor app, users can easily set up their personal data, review their measurement results, and receive personalized feedback and insights.

Quick Start Guide

STEP

Download the app.

STEP

Pair your smart device.

HeartAdvisor

Download and install the “OMRON

HeartAdvisor” app onto your smart device.

STEP

Insert 4 “AAA” batteries.

1) Turn on the Bluetooth® on your smart

device.

2) Open the app and follow the instructions.

Note: You can ignore STEP 1 & 3, if you don't

want to pair with a smart device.

STEP

Set the measurement

unit, date and time.

The date and time will be automatically set

when paired with your smart device. To set

manually, follow the instructions below:

1) Press the button and the “inchlb” blinks.

2) Press the button to adjust the measurement

unit.

3) Press the button to conﬁrm the

measurement unit.

When complete, the year will blink.

4) Repeat the same steps to adjust the year,

month, day, hour, and minute.

5) After all of the settings are entered, the

power automatically turns off.

Intended for measuring and displaying the following body composition parameters.

-- Body Weight -- Body Fat -- Visceral Fat

-- Skeletal Muscle -- Resting Metabolism -- BMI

STEP

Take a measurement.

1) Take a measurement when the power of the

monitor is off.

2) When your user ID and measurement results

are displayed, the measurement is complete.

3) Press the button to conﬁrm your user ID.

Note: This monitor regularly recalibrates

automatically when it is not in use.

You can also implement the “0 lb”

correction before taking measurement by

ﬂowing 1) -3) of STEP 5. When the “0.0

lb” is displayed, press the button (2

seconds or longer) to turn off the power.

STEP

Set-up your personal

data.

1) Press the button and the user ID “1”

blinks.

2) Press the button to select your user ID.

3) Press the button to conﬁrm your user ID.

When complete, the year will blink.

4) Repeat the same steps to set your birth

date, gender, and height.

5) Step onto the monitor to take a measurement

when “0.0 lb” is displayed.

Step off the monitor after the measurement

results are displayed.

6) The personal data set-up is complete.

7) Press the button (2 seconds or longer) to

turn off the power.

Note: You can also set your personal data

on your smart device by following

the instructions from the “OMRON

HeartAdvisor” app.

Correct posture during the

measurement:

Step onto the monitor with your

bare feet.

Place the arches of your feet

onto the center of the monitor.

Do not bend your knees

during measurement.

Position monitor on a hard, level

ﬂoor.

STEP

Check the measurement

results.

After your measurement is complete, your

results will automatically rotate on the display.

Note: You can also conﬁrm your measurement

results on your smart device by following

the instructions from the “OMRON

HeartAdvisor” app.

STEP

Press the button

(2 seconds or longer) to

turn off the power.

The power also turns off if the unit is not used

for 3 minutes.
