SnapCam Lite – Instruction of MicroSD Card Upgrade

1. Connect the used MicroSD Card to PC thru SnapCam Lite or card reader, you may see the folders have been created automatically as picture below. (If you cannot

see such folders in the MicroSD Card, please insert the MicroSD Card into SnapCam Lite and take photos or video record, then the CAM will create the folders

automatically.)

2. Please put the Firmware Upgrade File (eg : FW.SNAP.1.0.16.bin, you can download from our website www.ioncamera.com) into the MicroSD Card under the

folder \FIRMWARE\ as picture below.

3. Disconnect the SnapCam Lite or card reader from PC. If card reader was used, please put back the MicroSD Card into the SnapCam Lite.

5. After the Firmware Upgrade finished, please use the SnapCam Lite to take photos. Then please connect the MicroSD Card to PC thru SnapCam Lite or card reader.

You may see under a new folder “INSTALLED” was created under folder “FIRMARE”, and the firmware upgrade file (eg : FW.SNAP.1.0.16.bin) was moved to folder

“INSTALLED” as picture below.

6. Under the folder “DCIM\100SNAPC”, you may see the photo file which you have just taken. Please select the photo file, and right click “Properties”.

7. The Properties Window will be pop-up, please select “Details” Page, as following picture. You may see the Program Name of the photo file is upgraded. Eg

“DSP_v1.0.16 MCU….”, means firmware upgrade successful.
