For mounting on the wall:
1. Mark two screw hole centres vertically 76mm (3") apart. Checking that there is
room to fit the Vax Detailer and charging base near a mains socket outlet.
IMPORTANT: WHEN DRILLING, ENSURE THAT YOU ARE CLEAR OF ANY
HIDDEN CABLING OR PIPEWORK.
2. Drill a 4.5mm (3/16”) hole through the centre of each mark.
3. Push the plastic wall plugs (supplied) into the drilled holes.
4. Tighten the screws into the wall plugs, leaving 6.5mm (1/4”) between the screw
head and the wall surface.
5. Slide the charging base onto the screws. Adjust the screw clearance as needed to
ensure a tight fit.
Keep the charger plugged in to a mains socket at all times. It is normal for the
charger to become warm to the touch when charging. If the operating time gets
shorter after repeated use, let the unit run until its charge is exhausted, then
recharge for 24 hours. Repeat this monthly for best results.
