Construction and RV Power Outlet Panels
Construction and RV Power
Outlet Panels
Product Description
A Power Outlet Panel (or
POP) is a device designed
for outdoor service to meet
temporary power requirements
at construction sites and
recreational vehicle (RV) parks.
Construction sites and RV
parks need to provide a safe
and reliable means for users to
access electricity and Power
Outlet Panels provide the outlets
for electrical access.
Application Description
Power Outlet Panels (POPs)
are also sometimes called
Temporary Power Panels,
Temporary Site Service
Equipment or RV (Recreational
Vehicle) Panels.
When Power Outlet Panels are
used at a construction site, they
are installed on a temporary
basis until electrical power is
available at the building. The
most common reason for
needing a Power Outlet Panel
at a construction site is to
provide a power source for the
contractor’s tools.
When POPs are used at an RV
park, they are installed for more
permanent use and serve the
purpose of providing power to
a vehicle’s appliances. Many
RV parks now supply users
with lighted POPs with TV
and telephone jacks. A move
towards offering more amenities
at RV parks.
