TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
FOR YOUR SAFETY
1. Please read the following instructions and keep them on hand for
later reference.
2. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have
been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

3. Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless con-
tinuously supervised.

Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only
switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed
or installed in its intended normal operating position and they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug
in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user mainte-
nance.

CAUTION – Some parts of this product can become very hot and
cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children
and vulnerable people are present.

with the appliance.

and walls and other flammable objects such as curtains.

20. Ensure that the air intake grille in the appliance is unobstructed
at all times. Clean the air inlet grille at regular intervals.
21. Never cover the air inlet grille or the air outlet opening with your
hand or other objects.
22. If you have curlers, hairpins or similar items in your hear, ensure
that they do not project more than 10 mm, to avoid contact with
energised parts of the hair dryer.
23. For safety reasons, do not use the appliance to dry artificial hair.
24. To avoid burns, never aim the hot air flow directly at your face.
25. Do not use any hair sprays while the appliance is in operation.
26. Switch off the appliance before you set it down.
27. The appliance is equipped with an overheating protection circuit.
If operated for too long, the appliance switches off automatically
to prevent damage to the appliance. After an appropriate cool-
down time, you can place the appliance in service again.
28. After use or prior to cleaning the appliance, always switch off
and unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet and allow it
to cool.
29. As long as the plug is in the electrical outlet, even if the appli

ance is switched off, the appliance poses a hazard in the vicinity
of water.

Do not insert any objects into the appliance, due to the ensuing
damage, there is danger of electric shock.
31. Only use the appliance for the purposes described in these
instructions.
32. To avoid damage, do not use the appliance with accessories of
other manufacturers or brands.

Check the plug and the power cord regularly for wear or dam-
age. In case of damage to the power cord or other parts, please
send the appliance for inspection and/or repair to our customer
service organisation. Unauthorised repairs can result in serious
risks to the user and will void the warranty.

If the power cord of this appliance is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or by the manufacturer’s customer
service organisation, or by a person with similar qualifications,
to prevent hazards.

1. Ensure that the on/off switch is on “0”.
2. Plug the power plug of the wall holder into an electrical outlet (220–240 V~,
50/60 Hz).
3. Take the hair dryer out of the wall holder.
4. Switch the appliance on via the On/Off switch.
5. Select the desired speed level. The following settings are available:
0 = Off
1 = Moderate air flow, for drying and styling hair
2 = Powerful air flow and heat flow, for fast drying of hair
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
INSTALLING THE WALL HOLDER
OPERATION
1. Caution: If you want to install the wall holder in damp rooms, such as bath-
rooms, ensure that there is an adequate distance to the bathtub, sink and
other vessels filled with water. The distance in this regard must be at least
1.5 meters to ensure safe operation.
2. First check whether an electrical outlet is within reach at the desired instal-
lation location.
3. Attach the wall holder with three screws. If necessary use dowel plugs to
securely attach the wall holder. Please use the attached drill template for
easy installation.
4. Note: at the back of the wall holder there is a small tab. If you mount it first
with a screw on the wall, you can simply mount the wall holder and then
secure it with the other two screws on the right and the left hole.
Caution! The appliance is very hot during and after operation!
Never open the housing of the appliance. There is danger of
electric shock.
For safety reasons never use the appliance close to or in a bath-
tub or washbasin or any other container filled with water. If the
hair dryer is used in a bathroom, unplug it from the wall socket
after use, since nearby water presents a danger even when the
hair dryer is switched off.

6. With the cooling button/cooling stage you can give your hair style the finish-
ing touches and add body to your hair. You must keep the button depressed
during the desired period of operation, to get obtain a cool air flow.
7. After drying your hair, switch off the appliance via the On/Off switch and
hook it back into the wall holder.
8. The appliance is equipped with a safety function: Should you forget to
switch off the appliance, it will be switched off automatically when it is
hooked into the wall holder. Nevertheless, the device should be switched off
using the on/off switch!
9. Unplug the power plug from the electrical outlet.
Caution! The appliance is very hot during and after operation!

1. To prevent damage to the power cord do not wrap the power cord around the
appliance.
2. Always store the hair dryer in the wall holder, to prevent damage to the
appliance.
3. Protect the appliance from dust.
CLEANING AND CARE

or other liquids in order to clean it.
1. If one of the two power cords is twisted, please untwist it immediately, oth-
erwise damage can occur inside the power cord.
2. Wipe off the appliance with a dry/damp cloth.

WASTE DISPOSAL / ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Our appliances are produced on a high quality level for a long lifetime. Regular maintenance and expert
repairs by our after-sales service can extend the useful life of the appliance. If an appliance is defective
and repair is not possible we ask you to follow the following instructions for disposal. Do not dispose this
appliance together with your standard household waste. Please bring this product to an approved collection
point for recycling of electric and electronic products. By separate collection and disposal of waste products
you help to protect natural resources and ensure, that the product is disposed in an adequate way to protect
health and environment.
GUARANTEE CONDITIONS
We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the date of purchase
for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been used according to its intended
use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our
option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the re-
sponsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly
packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of
purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the
shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and
failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the
appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
